OH MY GOD CHALLENEGES LOOK AMAZING. I've wanted crazy special only gamemodes like that since the first game!

This update is actually insane. That Challenges mode is gonna go INSANE. Edit: I just noticed the fist bump that the two characters in the middle do on the victory screen, and that is just too cute. Also, FINALLY NEW MUSIC

This whole trailer was fire and the fact that this is the first new type of brush we got since Splatoon 1 is INSANE.

1:14 I like how it says "new cards!" As if that's what people are gonna be thinking when they show everyone the weapons they play that are confirmed to have a new future

It'd be sick if, like the fist bump at the end, there are several special interactions depending on both you and your teammate's emotes.

I feel like this music track is one of the rarer Splatoon songs with minimal “squidish” speaking sounds and straight up instrumentals. It’s so refreshing to be honest.

This is definitely a lot better than the Twitter posts we got for fresh season. AND FINALLY NEW BATTLE MUSIC OUTSIDE OF SPLATFESTS. The new weapons also seem like an awful lot of funand I'm also looking forward to grinding 999 on the new Salmon Run stage. But I think the biggest surprise is the challenge mode. IT LOOKS SO FUN.

As a brush main I am immensely happy to see we FINALLY HAVE A NEW WEAPON!! After 8 years of only Inkbrush and Octobrush, I can’t wait to try the Painbrush to see it in action! (Also as a Wiper backup… NEW KIT! OH GOD YES!!!!) I also can’t wait to see how the new Salmon Run stage feels. AND CHALLENGES?? OFFICIAL MINIGAMES?? Summer is going to be GREAT!

I absolutely love how well made this trailer is. The pacing, the music, the editing, it's all so well done.

What is it about Splatoon 3 that brings back so many happy 90's childhood memories? Especially my summertime growing up watching Nickelodeons "Wild and Crazy Kids" and "Double Dare" on TV after school ended for summer? The awesome level designs remind me of years spent going to the pool in the summertime with other kids and having late night water gun fights on our bicyles and mopeds around the neighborhood while smelling freshly cut grass and delicious barbeques all across my neighborhood. All while dressed up in bright neon colored clothes just like the cool kids did on "Saved by the bell" with our gel spiked hair and the girls with their long hot iron curled hairdoes and clinky bracelets. I can literally smell the garden house in the heat of summertime sun as it tries to water my mom and dads lawn and taking my brand new Super Soaker 50 around my house and shooting at bugs and my sister and then getting ready for my birthday party at the arcade at the mall with all my friends and all i can play tokens as the birthday boy! This game makes me feel like I'm 12 years old all over again.....I freaking love it.

Whenever ska-blam plays all I can think of is the dancing inklings at the start of this trailer 😭😭😭

HUMPBACK PUMP TRACK IS BACK!!!! This was one of my favorite S2 stages, and I’m glad it’s coming back to S3.

Almost everything in here left me incredibly excited. Brushes finally get a third main weapon, the new blaster seems to have a unique jumping mechanic, the new salmon run map looks fun to play on... *Brellas are finally getting acknowledged,* the challenge modes speak for themselves and we also at last get new music. There is only one thing that bothers me about the new content... *WHY IS THE NEW STAGE YET ANOTHER TETRIS BLOCK??!!*

This season is literally perfect, the new modes, weapons, the stage, and don’t even get me started on the music 😳

Yoko & the Gold Bazookas Yoko is the trumpet player from Ink Theory! This song is definitely a jazz song I've been waiting so long for more like this in Splatoon!

Oh my gosh. This is amazing. The new song is wonderful. Wow. And the new stage and humpback pump track coming back is just very good. This new emotes are really adorable. The new salmon run map looks so good. And the challenges. Oh. I will have fun with those. I can’t wait for this season

i keep rewatching this trailer, it's genuinely insane how good this is. from the music (yoko and the gold bazookas are SO AWESOME) to the way they showcased everything, this is literally PEAK SPLATOON TRAILER. i can only imagine how the drizzle season 2023 and side order trailers are going to be, and if they can top this one.

OMG THE NEW SONG, STAGE, MODES, WEAPONS AND EVERYTHING ELSE 🤧😱😍. The music reminds me of the Johnny Bravo/looneytoons show opening theme song, if yall don't know this trust me and please search up their opening and then combine them so you'll know exactly what I mean. It's bringing up so much childhood nostalgia from those cartoons as well the Angry birds go trailer (racing game). Also in all realness this seems like a fusion between arowana and kelp domes external aesthetic while the stage is reminding me of albacore in some ways. Let's hope the hype is well deserved like for the fresh season. Can't wait see other people's reaction to this.

FINALLY a new brush! It actually looks pretty unique as well, I like the longer range it has compared to the Octobrush and Inkbrush. I would've loved to main Octobrush with a kit like Suction Bombs and Zipcaster but the Brush itself is just a little lacking in something, so maybe a little extra range will help out with that. It doesn't help that as much as I like Zipcaster it's not the best Special, but hey if Paintbrush somehow ends up with something like Tacticooler then we'll be in an even worse spot. Regardless, the Brush curse has been broken! Other than that, I'm just as interested in Challenges as everyone else is. Seeing that fog mode might've terrified me on first sight having just finished Persona 4, but if this ends up being a "Anything goes" mode with who knows how many modifiers, then I'm gonna have a TON of fun with this. I just hope that it releases with enough randomizers at first because if it's just the 3 they showed in the trailer, that could get old fairly quickly. But hey, I'm optimistic, Nogami has proven he knows what he's doing with Splatoon, so I trust this'll be yet another solid update.
