I don't why Nintendo hasn't thought to cross these two games yet. I had an idea the other day for an ink shooter that looked like F.L.U.D.D but was instead called F.L.U.I.D(Flash Liquidizer Ultra Inking Device)
Its interesting how these two pieces of music fit together so well, considering they are two completely opposite games... In Splatoon you want to paint as much of the board as possible (or something of that matter, sorry I've never played it), and in Mario Sunshine, you want to clean up the whole Isle.
MayroSMM If you ever get a chance to choose between Luigi's Mansion or Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, go for the original. Its way more spooky, and way more fun!
There needs to be a Mario X Splatoon crossover. IMO, these two series are a match made in heaven. Who knew Nintendo's oldest and newest IPs would fit so well together?
Personally, I don’t like the idea of seeing the Mario world exist in the same world as Splatoon, at least, in a canonical game. They can easily do Splatfests and stuff fun, but knowing the extensive lore of Splatoon, I would prefer it if the world, story, and gameplay stay as it’s own thing separate from every other IP. Crossover games are absolutely no big deal if it’s clear that it isn’t canonical. For example, Smash Bros or Mario Kart. But, having just Splatoon and Mario cross over in a single game feels weird to me. Like, there could be better ideas for marketing right? What ideas can you use for a Splatoon and Mario crossover that mixes the best of both worlds in a satisfying way? Maybe a big fan of both Splatoon and Mario can attempt to answer that, but I personally really don’t like the Mario series. The gameplay doesn’t click with me, I dislike the lack of story, and the series just feels like a soulless IP that Nintendo uses for money making and nothing else. Splatoon on the other hand, it’s gameplay is unique and innovative and is fun from the very first game in the series, which is seriously impressive. I love the music in both games, the varying styles makes the world feel much bigger than it actually is, and while the current story isn’t complicated, that’s okay since I love all of the characters, Marie in Splatoon 2 especially so. There is just so much potential when it comes to expanding the lore, world building, gameplay, and character ideas for this series, you could say that Splatoon is a series absolutely brimming with potential. I have the highest of hopes for the future of the series. I wrote too much again...
+Blitz Because in Splatoon's timeline, all the humans, thus including Mario and all his friends, sadly, have been wiped out. SMS and Splatoon would therefore be thousands of years apart.

Mario, as well as the rest of the Mushroom Kingdom, exist outside the Earth's timeline. I don't think the human extinction is even relevant here.

***** tfw "he noticed me *gasp*" Yeah, the Smashified parts were really cool especially when you used the same instruments for the Sunshine parts also. It sounded really smooth. Also, I can't stop myself from humming that Splatoon Smashified theme. It's so good! You should tell Omni to make a Brawl in the Family related something, especially since the author of the comic works with the Nintendo Force team, and that Iwata tribute was awesome. Can't believe you made 5 songs for that! Great job! But seriously, I can imagine Eario for Smashified, haha. Even though my vote was for Bandana Dee in the Smash Ballot, maybe I should've voted for Eario. Keep it up, Nathaniel! You're my favorite of the Smashified team!
A mixed game would be so cool... one team has to fill the whole area with ink, and the other team has flood and has to clean as much as possible.... JENIUS, AND WILL MAKE SUNSHINE POPULAR AGAIN!
My favorite thing about this is how long it is. SO many good remixes online are only 2-3 minutes long, sometimes even shorter. I like being able to put this song on and not having to worry about putting anything else on for almost ten minutes

Ever since I started playing splatoon I've wanted a Ricco Harbor map, and FLUDD and the Magic Paintbrush as weapons. I think this is the closest I'll get to that. Anyway...Its great!
Man, this was a great start to a fantastic idea! May I suggest for the next one doing a mix of Hightide Era's "Hooked" and "Sucker Punch" mixed with Ricco Harbor? They're my favorite songs from both games and they mesh together nicely There's also a lot of Turquoise October's Works, My favorites have to be Cephaloparade, Tentacular Circus, and Octoling Rendezvous
I know I might be a little late but the download link is down and I really want to put this song on my ipod. id rather have an "authentic copy" than downloading the video and convert it to a MP3 file. Is there another place to download this?
I would love to see if they do make a remastered splatoon for switch have a mode where one team has fluds and the other has the ink I guess it would be the same as both having ink but hey might be fun.
has anybody else noticed that when you click the like button twice it "unlikes" but if you click the dislike button twice it still "unlikes" instead of "undisliking"
