The more I hear this, the more I want to play the fictional game!

Splatshine: A game with two sides. One with Inklings making the mess and one with Mario on cleanup duty. Every now and then on each side, the opposite would bleed over (Mario as a mini-boss in the Inkling story/opposite in Mario's story) Man, and to think just this song gave me this idea, good job!

Sounds like some parts of the song have a sample of the sound Petey Piranha makes when he's about to throw up in Sunshine, is that right? I really liked the inclusion of the Yoshi bongos, hit me right in the nostalgia.

If there were some sort of Splatoon 2 DLC that involved a "Boss Mode" kind of thing, this would be a great track for the game. It's so good that it could even be considered the "Original Version".☺

I adore everything about this remix from how you made both styles mix in so well from hearing parts of Petey in the mix and especially the yoshi drums! I also love how it's presented and also Sean did an amazing job with the artwork although I remember seeing this somewhere on 4chan back around June of last year but I could be wrong! Anyway you should really do remixes more often if it means hearing great remixes like this

but think about it. this could be a very good boss battle in Splatoon. kuz you have both Petey's ink and water to watch out for.

I still think a Splatoon x Sunshine crossover of some kind would be great, maybe in Splatoon 3 we can get Mario’s vacation clothes, or a weapon resembling F.L.U.D.D. But a sunshine style game with Splatoon... I’d like to think that the inklings aren’t necessarily villains, because of 2 reasons. 1) Turf war with Petey Piranha and a bunch of other enemies, I mean cmon. 2) Inkling Ink is stated to disappear shortly after battle. Also, just because mario wields water and can instantly kill an inkling doesn’t mean he should have to.

Man I love this song, I feel like a Splatoon X Mario Sunshine/Mario game would probably work, but it would have to be in a spinoff or maybe a Splatoon X Jet Set Radio spinoff, it's not like Sega's doing anything with Jet Set Radio nowadays apart from featuring the franchise in their Sega All Star Racing games, I think those two games could work very well together since their both pull from the sort of style, that being the 90s esque theme they have going on, although Splatoon does have modern fashion included. Anyway great job remixing, I came across this video last week or the week before and I've been listening to it along with Scruffy's Sky and Sea remix

I love this remix more than the original theme personally. One reason is this remix is a lot more clear, and secondly, I just love the instruments used a lot more. Also love the sounds of I believe Petey in the background, really adds that Splatoon feel to the song.

This is so well done. The music perfectly covers both the Splatoon and Mario Sunshine styles and sounds like exactly what you'd hear in the former. Aside from maybe the Yoshi voice sample, this is spot on without being all over the place like most fanmade music tends to be. Not related to the music and kind of obivious as well, your video visuals keep impressing me a lot. This is the kind of quality stuff I aim for, and you know there's some real talent behind the scenes when you can even comprehend how this is made. (I'm pretty sure it wasn't that complicated too but I'm an idiot)

If this was a game then the only problem I see is how to explain this lore wise for Mario it’s normal or all his adventures even tho for some are in a timeline for others they aren’t and feel like it could be anytime for this to happen (in the game series) but for Splatoon it’s not only a living breathing world where everything in game or lore is happening next to our timeline but everything in game is canon no matter what so how would we explain a Dinosaur and a Human and other characters/creatures in a different universe are in this universe (Mario universe to Splatoons universe) and this includes some of the little bits of lore or thinking when you play the said game. (This is good music by the way for the video)
