Owtnabowt indoors!
In this (not allowed out 'cos of lockdown so doing things indoors) video, I show how I set a fixed, permanent loop in to a length of paracord by splicing the cord into itself and then whipping the ends for neatness.
Relatively easy to do if you have something with a point on it. I use my soldering iron, but a nail would work just as well. When I spliced the loop on my ridge line, I didn't use the needle nose plyers, but it was certainly a lot easier with them.
Oh yeah....added random music to keep Stevo happy :D
