Splitting Fugly Wood - Fiskars X27 Free Flow Splitting - 2023 #17 

Thanks Ryan for the positive feedback. The wood shed is awesome, I'm really proud of that build, it was my covid lockdown project, I built the frame at home in the garage in lockdown and then assembled it at the land once I had the foundation trunks set. Full set of videos on the build, check out the playlist. It works a treat, it over hangs the hill thus I get airflow through the sides, back, front and from underneath - perfecto.

Im loving the axe sessions, especially on this wood that splits easy ( messmate gum ). Just had my appendix out though so won’t be swinging the axe for a while. …. More RU-vid watching time….

Cheers Marty. Love that easy splitting wood. I delivered 3 cubes of this wood to a lady recently, she was concerned by the amount of black and burned bark. I took her some extra for free and she said it burned great, just looks butt ugly and is messy to handle. I’ll be sure to give her some cleaner stuff next time.
