The ultra stamp is terrifying. Especially when it comes flying from the other half of the map for a snipe

My duuuuuude those were the most fire string of rainmaker matches I have ever seen o-o Etce be sweating on them woomies and veemos

Try to swim while using Ultra Stamp to adjust your pathing. That tactic used to be garbage, but they had a major buff to the Stamp allowing it to come out of swim and continue to mash w/ less frames, making it a very viable method of getting up close and immediately disappearing or turn on a dime. Especially useful as most players will try to get behind you and then you just 180 on them. Very funny. It's quickly becoming my favorite special. Also, don't forget there's an additional attack if you jump an press fire. Fantastic for picking off a panic Splashdown or a person on a ledge.

As a Kensa Octobrush main, I know all too well, don't go at the rainmaker bubble with the stamp, ur quite literally gambling with ur life, if ur weapon were a different one with Ultra Stamp that's not the Sploosh, just YEET it at the bubble, or go around and get the enemies away from it But the Sploosh 7 is definitely my favorite of the Sheldon's picks, it would be the Aerospray PG if it had another special

The Sploosh was my first main in Splatoon 2. Wish I wasn’t so trash with the ultra stamp, I usually just yeet it every time I get it

2:34 How do you pop the rainmaker's shield and splat yourself?!?!? 何?! (NANI?!) Is that some new mechanic with the ultrastamp??? There was nothing there to squish him. He just went splat for no reason.

Actual tip: Don't jump too much. In midair, your at a big disadvantage, since you can't get into squid form easily. Not saying that you *shouldn't* jump, but try not to do it too much when you're just inking, so your ink faster, and fighting (i used to think that jumping a lot in an interaction helped let me dodge my opponent's ink, soon learned it's pretty useless) Edit: Also remembered that you're character is generally slower in the air than moving on the ground, that makes things even worse. Edit Again: Ok, thought about this more, jumping from a swim isn't actually that bad of an idea, since you lose momentum by just letting go of the squid button, but please try not to full hop when you can, and don't jump while in an interaction too much.
