Considering the rise in Inkbrushes recently this weapon has become quite the... nuisance. In a good way, y’all brush mains deserve your time in the spotlight.

I prefer the inkbrush with ink mines; perfect for getting notified on where opponents are so you can easily sneak up on them. EDIT: I just tried this thing and I think I’ve converted. Never understood people who say the inkbrush is bad, for me it’s like playing on easy mode compared to other weapons.

👀 hmmm i have to disagree I didn’t realize how much i had missed the sprinkler with an inkbrush. Stupidly fast at everything (except splatting lmao). This weapon heavily relies on team support tho... but its stupid good at it, you have like 2 ways of being a distraction, you can cover turf for your team fast when they need it, get to where you need to be quickly, and of course ink armor is literally helping your whole team. I also love using main power up + ink saver or sub saver on this, just so that i can be annoying longer. edit: also special charge up.

Everytime I hear audio clips from come I roll over laughing. My favorite is the scream from the "you better stop" vine. Kills me every single time.

That 3 Vs 4 round reminded me of the time I had a disconnect in clam blitz. We won because the 3 of us were more organized than the 4 of them

Just some notes from a brush main: This variant is the one most heavily designed on getting advantage. Sprinkler is one of the best distractions in the game and can be used to bait flanks just as well as charging special. Armor is arguably the best tool for the brush as both a support option and head to head engagements thanks to extending time to kill drastically. (Exception to those who run shredder) The down side to this is not much ways for range harassment and fails on certain maps such as new albacore where nades are more useful. Highlight game modes for this brush are tower control and splat zones. Sprinkler is always helpful at slowing advances on the tower and armor gives more control on tower compared to the baller. In zones, it solves the brushes original issues with 2 point maps and armor is great for team advances. It takes more of a backseat on rainmaker and clam blitz due to novaeu and stock being a bit better in inevitable head to heads. It's not weak for use in those modes but other brushes have more handy utilities when big fights occur and not enough time for a flank. Overall, a welcomed addition to brushes. Fixes some of the holes in brush play and has a interesting kit for brush options.

MPU hardly does anything for brushes, best just use ink saver so you can go fast forever.

The permanent inkbrush is like the the first inkbrush in Splatoon 1 minus the Inkstrike (Thank the Great Zapfish).

In your first match you were being a great support while also being very aggressive (I don’t know about your other matches because as of making this comment I haven’t watched them). I really like how you wait and a team mate was able to super jump to you while behind in the enemies side. This allowed you to surprise them and take the momentum. Also in that same instance you got the attention of someone and distracted them so your teammate would kill him. You played this pretty well.

And on full display here is why I both love and hate playing Inkbrush - it can be a lot of fun, but it's also frantic. Very, very frantic. Which is good if you just want to have a blast, but can be troublesome if you've had a rough day and you're on a short fuse or don't do well under pressure.

Use the Toni kensa octo brush its not that fast but it is amazing for taking zones, defending the rainmaker, covering turf, AND KILLING PEOPLE

I've got an idea for brush users (for clothing anyway), why not have one piece of clothing with full run speed, one piece of clothing with full swim speed, one piece of clothing with full respawn punish(thing), and one piece of clothing with full main power up(or something along those lines)? (I never played Splatoon so I wouldn't know if there's a problem with it)

For a weapon that’s supposed to be a support weapon, I don’t think I’m supposed to be leading my team to victory in Splat Zones. Or any mode to be honest. I swear, the teams I get paired with only help 100% of the time when they do.

Respawn Punisher is the best ability for this weapon! I just avoid confrontation and focus on objective, but if I do spot you I will fancy slap you into the shadow realm!

I killed someone with the bloblober's sprinkler and got a kill. I died from laughter because I threw it out thinking I still had splat bombs from my previous weapon!

I used the Permanent Inkbrush today and had lots of fun, I ever got a cheeky sprinkler kill on someone right after they splatted me.

Actually I found the permanent inkbrush very good in port mackerel, as you can rush into enemy spawn and camp there, killing loads of people lol

This weapon is good the only problem is the range the only thing I can hope for is to hope that my team has weapons with decent range. I can support with map control and ink armor that’s about it...

Didn’t you know that Main Power is buffed for the Ink Brush And Octo Brush? When you apply Main power up on either brush and run around with it you can see your ink trail sprays wider!

I feel as if it can be important to focus on all 3 parts of the weapon, as I usually focused on advice I heard that the sprinkler can be a "turfing machine" on a defensive weapon, and in turn charges special faster I guess. I am uncertain how much knowledge of the main weapon is needed though because while I have experience with other low DPS weapons I am just like "hahaha slapslapslsap" after dodging my opponent and having just enough time to splat them while staying safe.
