Splurging on motorcycle mods is in the future! I'm also debating painting the tank on my Suzuki TU250X. Turns out, the process is rather pricey. Even more so because the tank needs a bit of body work. And I still can't even decide what color I want to paint the motorcycle tank.
Clearly, I haven't a clue of what I'll end up doing. Watch to hear me out (and then help me decide)! Should I paint my motorcycle?

I've been riding motorcycles since 2013. My first bike? A little tangerine-orange scooter. Over the years, I've owned several motorcycles (some I've since sold) but am currently riding three - a 2013 Suzuki TU250X, 2009 Buell Lightning XB12SCG and 2020 Royal Enfield Continental GT 650. I've learned a lot in my motorcycling journey, but have so much room to grow! Hi there and thanks for the anniversary wishes! Enjoying the Continental so far. My husbands been riding it most though. 😉 But it's a fun bike and love the classic look. Looking forward to putting more miles on it.

How about cobalt blue with a black pinstripe? If you decide to change the color, have you thought about painting it yourself. It may be significantly cheaper but takes additional time and risks.

Cobalt blue would be nice! No, I haven’t looked into doing it myself. But I think I may considering it’d be much cheaper. And then if I mess it up I can just buy a new tank which would probably *still* be cheaper in the long run.

I have purchased a lot of parts from Revival. First class operation but a grand is way too much for the tank. I have no doubt there is someone close by who does not charge so much for the reputation. Wrapping is a good option but you still have to fix those dents. Electric cobalt blue would turn some heads. Best thing about wrapping is they can computer generate just about any design you want in vinyl. Possibilities are endless.

Thanks! I actually don’t know because they were on the bike when I got it. Only thing is they’re two different mirrors, so I might be changing them out soonish. If so, I’ll probably make a video on that.

Fun ending to the vid. Are you familiar with Nautica's blue, white and yellow. I've always wanted to do a bike in those color with the white & yellow as pin striping on a field of blue, cobalt or deep sea blue. Ride Safe Ride Free

i'm partial to blues and teals so i would vote for that. as for the quote, damn lol. i'm curious how they even came to that number??? they make like the tank is covered in dents and huge 🤔

I’m not even sure. I probably need to check other places for quotes too since Revival can be more $$. But yes, I love blues, teals and aquas myself so it’s tempting to go that direction.

I think a blue would be sooo pretty. A vibrant teal/turquoise would be so unique!!🤩 I do agree though, I wish motorcycle related things (parts, mods, service etc.,) weren't so expensive!! Like my wallet can't handle this nonsense🤣

I go back and forth but leaning towards something vibrant right now! I know, motorcycles are definitely not cheap once you add up everything they need and you want to do with them!

Holy cow that’s a lot for the tank. I got a quote from a guy out here to repair and repaint my tank and he said about $500. Oh and I’m partial to like a lime green color perhaps? You should do that color 😂

Just bought a barely ridden jet black 2016 in beautiful condition! Decided to empty the old fuel since I was adjusting the valves anyway. In the process the tank popped out of my hands putting a dent in it .. %&**. Then during my wife's first lesson she dropped the bike snapping the clutch lever.. So I need dent repair, a paint job and a new lever within 3 days!! 😆 c'est la vie. An orange crush colour with a black stripe? You might incorporate a silver stripe with whatever compliments silver!

Thats way to much to paint a tank. Maybe you could fix the dents and wrap it? I've had people mistake my wrap for paint alot.

Hi, I bought a suzuki tu250x 2018. Id really want if you could film your rear seat and the underside of it? Help me and maybe other people get a better idea on how to turn this nice bike into more like a cafer racer looking bike!. Thx alot and love your video! Gonna watch more of them.
