Here is the final boss from Dead Cells, with the cutscene before and after the fight, in English this time :) Enjoy. Here's a full 5BC run if you're interested: • [Spoilers] Dead Cells ...
Like, I know these are spoilers that "I should experience for myself", but let's be honest here: I'm not sure I'll ever beat 2BC at this point, 4BC makes me sick already and 5BC I haven't seen yet and I'm glad I didn't.
2BC is not all too difficult. Just get yourself an Alchemic Carbine and prioritize things that do +100% on poison. If you want to go for extra easy mode, do a custom game with the Carbine, Ice Shard and infantry grenade only. Get a +100% on poison ice shard, alchemic carbine/infantry grenades that oil enemies and an amulet that oils the ground. It's ridiculously easy at that point, even for 3BC. Literally the only problem is the Hand of the King. You may add a Rampart shield to make him easier.
I went from killing every enemy I could find in the base game to avoid as many optional fights as possible due to the health limitations and increased damage, Totally killed the fun for me and after looking at the "Final" skeleton boss i was definitely disappointed and glad I didn't waste my time but this boss across does look really cool. Not "Beat the unfun game several times as it gets more and more annoying" cool but just cool. He certainly isn't nearly as balanced as something like Absolute Radiance but hearing the sound completed starting music is awesome. But seriously I can't bring myself to play this game+ it only gets worse with more boss cells lol rip
So The Time Keeper sends us back to the past, before we killed the Collector - and we can kill him indefinitely. I mean that's a very smart way to end the story but not the game. We never killed the Time Keeper, she just runs away when we defeat it.
Its all a matter of perspective really, i think its a half assed way to end the story but a clever way to keep the whole rogue lite thing going.None of the NPCs have any further interaction after 5 BC despite, SPOILER ALERT SPOILER ALERT SPOILER ALERT The time Keeper sending us back to a timeline that is broken/glitched, tutorial knight is alive again for example and keeps repeating her starting dialogue (as seen in the video). SPOILER ALERT SPOILER ALERT However, the game files showed that there are supposed to be more interactions with NPCs and entire NPCs that are currently not (?) in the game, for example the sewer guy breaking out of his prison, a plague doctor like creature (that can also be seen in a portrait in the castle), and (what i would describe as) a mix between a ghost sprite and a fairy. SPOILER ALERT SPOILER ALERT Also the artbook, "The heart of Dead Cells" shows that there is (or perhaps was) supposed to be another boss like creature aside from the collector, the creature beeing made out of cells and beeing nearly 6-8 times the height of the player character (alongside having a similiar head in appearance) and many more interactions with the assasin. Perhaps i missed interactions past 5 BC, or the alpha simply lacks those additions on purpose, if not, fingers crossed for the paid DLC to finish the story, or at least have the stuff that is in the game files/artbook.
@@camyllecharlemagne1345You will get there. The best way to do 0cell mode is build up reduction damage go the full run with the Damage shield. Forgot the name. Every stat you want is reduction. On 0cell mode I beat the Hand without using 1 potion. For some reason you can't do the same thing in even 1 cell mode
@@LushieTilde Yup same here as soon as I get hit I just choose to die. Cause if you don't make the 30 kill door or the at least the first 60 kill door then your done. I was just Youtubing how to find a lot of Blueprints I still haven't gotten. Missing like 50 or so some are just hidden most are from drops
@@fusk7799 nah the time keeper doesn't have job for that she needs to contain malaise over and over again It must be powerful unknown person since tutorial knight is part of guard king at castle before she left her place there
@Pascal483 actually False Knight has a different theme, which he shares with his dream version and the Watcher Knights. The Collector has the Decisive Battle boss theme which is shared with Uumuu, Brooding Mawlek and some more I can't remember, but the theme is distorted as you said.
I mean the King was trying to ultimately help the people on the island. The REAL villain would be the Alchemist who manipulated us after we lost our body and memory.
Eh...Yeah. The Collector had just goals but the Panacea drove him mad. In the end he's a hypocrite, since he wants to constantly kill the "Prisoner" so he can get more cells and do it all over again. But given what the king had enforced on the island prior? Yeah, he was a real dickbag. So we are the villain. Unless the new alchemist (The Collector) was secretly manipulating things. Which I doubt. Given how he claims the Kingdom may be damned but not him with it, yeah his people are not the bottom line. Whatever 1.3 or the 1.2 release will bring, we'll have to see.
@@abtinferdowsi Yeah the king was trying to help but his methods was really really bad, unless there is some piece that says he was being manipulated (which i wouldn't be surprised) but if there is i didn't saw it.
This is a small indie game with a minimalist borderline joke plot that has been out for almost a year. Who even has the energy to get upset about spoilers for something like that.
@@SarahC-by4cs Did you actually try to understand my comment before replying? I'm not upset. I simply pointed out the genius move of using a "spoiler tag", just to show "the spoiler" above it. I hope you feel clever now, like the uploader. On a side note: "Jon Snow kills Daenerys at the end of Game of Thrones." - Spoiler. Get it? PS: Psych.
@@jayem187 I understood your attempt at wit, and your awkward response just proves my point about someone like you getting all uppity about something this insignificant. Sorry this video ruined your day yet again.
You missed out on the ACTUAL ending, this isn't the end. You can possess the King's body with the Homunculus rune after this, because he returns, and if you beat the Collector after that, you get the REAL ending.
@@lorax1274 The real ending is that after taking over The King's body using the Homunculus rune, you get your memories and voice back, and realize that you ARE the original King, but your body is still being affected by the malaise, so you go back to the observatory, beat the Collector again, and this time, the panacea doesn't destroy your body, because it's actually alive now, and so it cures you, and you go back to being the king, before The Main Character of the past shows up, and you both realize you're the same person, and the game rolls credits right as you two clash
@@xcess-sa IDK what you mean, because you can just look up "Dead Cells 1.2 True Ending", and you'll find a bunch of videos showing it off, I'm not making things up if that's your assumption XD
I just got to observatory for the first time, killed all the enemies and died while trying to get a fricking blueprint, I just want to see what the stupid boss looks like thank you Edit: I beat the dude now :)
man, i'm glad that lady from the first scene is alive, i've been playing dead cells back then 2021 but it already have progress because im only borrowing my brother-in-laws pc back then, there's a corpse in front of promenade of the condemned portal and i didn't pay any attention to it, fastforward to this year, i got my own pc, played deadcells starting from 0 then talked to a lady, few games later shes dead in front of the portal which made me sad because she died and just realized that the corpse lying there was her XD
I don't mind spoiling this for myself, because I know that I will never, ever, ever, ever, ever beat it with 5 boss cells active. May as well try to beat Battletoads with the Power Glove.
So I think I just realized today after playing dead cells for about a year now that you can still progress in a custom game , and even earn boss cells ? Am I right ? If so this changes everything and hopefully I finally beat 2 boss cells and unlock the third , 5 boss cells wow incredible!
yea but you need to enable at least 20 items, otherwise achievements are locked. So lets say if you only enable like 5 items and finish 0 BC in order to absorb the 1st BC, you won't get the achievement for absorbing it. And you can't go back to get the achievement unless you start a new run and absorb it all over again.
Fairly sure you're the first one to reach this point. I've been looking everywhere and unless this is a mod of sorts (which would be kinda fun tbh), I haven't seen anything about this at all anywhere. Kinda cool, congrats!
The boss fight itself is awesome and I consider it the second favorite (the first is the lighthouse fight) the only thing I don't like is the boss itself. The character of the collector has potential and I don't think he is suitable for all-powerful evil. Don't get me wrong, I like dead cells and the whole plot, but I think the plot twists are a bit weak. Example: The king is beheaded.
@@ImagineRage yeah, but most people just don't have the patience to beat even 3 Boss Cells. Only the Dark Souls types bother with trying to beat the absurd difficulties above 3BC. I myself still haven't beaten 2BC. I know the strats, I just suck at implementing them.
@@Sassaparilla for some reason last i played i got through with bc4 with that old(?) reincartion perk/talent still active, imma quite proud of dat. so technically i got 5 bcs XD
Let's face it, not every average player can get good. Sometimes, other factors kick in. Like my god damn PSA. I'll keep trying to get passed 2BC but its not priority. For now, I focus on unlocking as many items, skills and mutations possible.🤷♀️
Nothing happens, as in, once his health hits 1 Hit point he becomes invincible (his health cannot decrease further), UNLESS, you drink the blue pot, so its either you drink the potion or you lose.
