I enjoy the game a lot. if I get bored I just shrug and log off. in comparison of most horsegames, sso it a good game. sad thing is, its community is furiously toxic and hatefull.
I would like the new area looking like real racing arenas as we can see in Paris or in the world, with realistic features and details such as “luxurious” seats, great sand floor, and more..
I'm hearing them talk about removing so many of the old events, but I'm not hearing what will be added. It just sounds like they are making the events we already have left (open house, red string) just last longer or smooshing them together. The only thing they mentioned adding was a possible renaissance. It all just sounds like fancy talk for "We are getting rid of A, B, and C, and replacing them with 4-6 weeks of D.
I think their explanation was fine really, and I like the idea of having just a few longer lasting seasonal festivals rather than these small short lasting events

I’ve been playing Star Stable Online for four years. Exactly around the time where they started to run these area updates and such. So yes I have experienced the older sso too. If you are about to call me out for enjoying the game and supporting them: don’t bother. I am not putting my energy in someone who clearly dislikes the game’s choices and is bored of it as well as making these snarky comments to people who haven’t played for as long as you have.
I can't believe they are prioritising the open house event over EASTER! It is spring, I thought the main event would be easier when they mentioned it and I was excited for a big 4week easier event but no, it's just the open house so they can sell more horses with different coats.
@@koniczka2000 Which to me is a very good point, people from all over the world play Star Stable now, which means people from different cultures and religions play. So since easter gets added, which is a christian holiday. One may ask why other important holidays for others won't get added? I pretty much see myself as an atheist, and while I do celebrate with my family on the holiday's I just do it out of cultural and social reasons. But here in Sweden most of us don't connect the religious events to the celebrations anymore. Anyhow, so in order to not exclude some and include some they've taken the stance to not celebrate religious holidays. That's why it's called the Winter Festival instead of Christmas. And to be fair Halloween isn't really a holiday hardcore christians like either so, it's more just a holiday when we dress up, eat treats and have fun.
I totally agree about the new race track. It looks too much like Star Shine ranch. I mean it looks good! But it is just boring because we have already seen a lot like that.
I wish the new racing thing would be like real racing, (even like aintree, it’s beautiful in there and the stables are stunning as are the arenas they could make a whole racing yard) with like white fences and horse walk ways and nps and fancy seating that’s almost full and parade rings and stuff
I completely agree with you about the race track. But no wonder. They change everything like that, not listening to the community. They don't care about us, nor about the original concepts. That is sad, but it's true, unfortunately
@@angustheterrible3149 idk, I agree they look better, but i liked the individuality of the old areas. i feel like imo overall, the new areas have too many similarities to each other. though they went above and beyond with the new racetrack, now that I've seen it in game I changed my opinion on that one.
imo race track looks a little too 'simple' like something amateur enthusiasts would build for fun and not something fancy and elegant which would fit the baroness' ownership more
Well, it was said it was build with the help of people around there. So I feel like it explains why it looks out of place lol. Build by amateurs or people from other places
I'm almost definitely sure that it was a picture of what it'll look like as we're doing quests to help the Baroness build it, as that's where the quests left off
I have a theory that came out of the blue! What if SSO updates Silver-Glade Equestrian Centre? Since they've updated the riding hall, steves, and Silverglade's Village itself, it could be likely that they are hinting at updating Silver-Glade Equestrian Centre after? Maybe that's why the newer & updated places are a completely new style. :D
I love how the game is getting more updates. And I'm pretty excited for the new festivals to come. I don't get why so many people are losing interest, I find that sad. Shouldn't we be happy that things are getting updated? Well, I guess everyone has their own opinions but whenever I watch videos like this, I feel like I see more negativity than positivity. Heck, if people don't like stuff, that's okay but they don't have to make others upset about it. They are still people out there who live this game.
yes indeed, due to all the negativity I have basically stepped out of the community. I have been playing for 4 years, and I still love the game. yes I get bored sometimes, but that is okay, I can just log off and take a break. I love the updates even though they're small. we get something new every week and that's special. I am a supporter of the few seasonal events they're planning. I never enjoyed these small events like easter and galentines day and such, it was too random.
I've been playing the game for 9-10 years now, and trust me, it's going downhill. Those aren't even updates. We already had most of those things before. This so hyped up spring festival is just a combination of previous events, that weren't even fun.
@Idotic Moron yes I thought about it too. I don’t get when “we paid” became a reason to be straight up rude and talk everything down. If people are so convinced its going downhill, then why don’t they just log off for the last time and have their accounts deleted? If there’s nothing in it for them, they should stop playing right?
@@hungsai9 to you they weren’t fun. And I’m perfectly aware of mixing up smaller events into one bigger event. I like it this way. And even though its small iodates its still updates. Rival Stars barely updates at all. And if they update its even smaller than a weekly sso update.
i just got back into star stable after 3 years, and when i played it was so nice, but riding arena bugged me so much it just didnt fit there, even tho its fancy, and i thought that they wouldve updated valedale and jarlaheim or even one of them but no :(

I think it will be great can’t wait to try it out lol if you all are not happy with sso then wait until the new horse games comes out in may and play those !!!! I love sso I’ve only been playing for 2 months it’s an awsome game….
