No. The boards are there to balance out the weight of the cake on the layers below it, that’s why the wooden dowels are added so the cake doesn’t get squished and fall over. When cut the cake is picked up and the boards stay intact.

The first time I saw Sponge Bob it was in a picture at an amusement park. My friends and I thought he looked ridiculous and we called him Stinky Cheese! We had no idea he was supposed to be a sponge. Also, I agree with you about the million legged bugs. They are evil!
