Honestly I loved the parts of "A pal for Gary" that were: -The way spongebob said enchiladas -Gary looking so done with everything that happened.

I hated "A Pal for Gary" all because SpongeBob never really bothered realizing his mistake that put Gary in danger. The fact that SpongeBob scolds Gary just AFTER he saved his life doesn't really sit well with me.

“A Pal for Gary” would have to be the episode that kids would be the most terrified for. The design for “Puffy Fluffy” was so creative and horrifying, it’s pretty unbelievable that it was made by SpongeBob animators. It actually looks more like something out of a Courage episode or an animated monster movie.

A Pal for Gary is the episode where I started to hate Spongebob. He was so blind and stupid to see that the only pet snail he has was going to kill the both of them. Squidward was right about Spongebob and Spongebob is too nice for his own good.

I really hate that officer, he’s following Squidward around to give him tickets for every little thing that he didn’t do

Believe it or not, "A Pal for Gary" was my first ever episode of SpongeBob I've ever seen.

I don't know who I hate more: The policeman constantly giving Squidward tickets, Patrick for being an incredibly selfish jerk, or SpongeBob how he was acting towards Gary... Yeah it's SpongeBob no contest

Well you guys have seen the best of SB, now its time for the worst with A Pal for Gary, I think its good that you guys are seeing this though. Kind of educational to see what happened to Spongebob, but if you continue you can see how it eventually improves again in later seasons, at least in my opinion

A Pal 4 Gary. What I hate about this episode is not on SpongeBob acting out of character but being blind and ignorant. Not to mention letting Gary getting abused by the critter. What pissed me off the most about this episode is the fact that SpongeBob literally almost gets eaten by the critter at the end. But then Gary comes to the rescue and actually saves SpongeBob's life. But dispite what happened in the end SpongeBob still ends up punishing Gary.

See, I’ve never liked ‘A Pal For Gary’ SpongeBob was completely clueless to what was going on. And it might be weird but I hate when Characters are just so oblivious to a situation like for real? And then Gary gets screwed over in the end because he actually enjoyed being home alone.

Out of all the infamous SpongeBob episodes that I watched when I was a kid, "A Pal For Gary" was the only episode that I actually hated even as a kid. With all the other infamous episodes, I never really saw them as being bad episodes until I got older, but this episode was enough to annoy me even as a kid, and that was back when I had extremely low standards for cartoon episodes. Now though, I don't think I really dislike any of the infamous SpongeBob episodes that much anymore, except for "SpongeBob, You're Fired". When I first watched the premiere of "A Pal For Gary" as a kid, I was excited at first because I thought SpongeBob was gonna have a permanent secondary pet alongside Gary throughout the rest of the series, and I was disappointed when the new pet turned out to be evil because that's when I knew it wasn't gonna stay with them by the end of the episode. That said, I do think the pet's monstrous design actually looks pretty cool. Also, SpongeBob was so dumb in the episode that he makes Patrick look smart in comparison. Also correct me if I'm wrong, but I think "Keep Bikini Bottom Beautiful" was Squilliam's last appearance in this show.

I understand that littering is particularly bad for the ocean but Keep Bikini Bottom Beautiful is a repetitive and obnoxious Squidward torture episode, complete with an inexcusable animation error at 2:50, Squilliam's statue has no unibrow! The only good part is 1:19, it's pretty funny. It's followed by what seems to be the most infamous SpongeBob episode of all time, A Pal For Gary, my second least favorite episode of the whole series. 13:01 He was somehow too occupied with fucking enchiladas! And it doesn't really get better from there with my least favorite Patrick episode of all time, Yours, Mine And Mine which is a bad influence for children! It does bring the stellar music from Squidtastic Voyage back at 22:00 though, feels like the late 2000's equivalent of Stadium Rave. Thank god Kracked Krabs is an alright episode after the 4 previous segments.

Oh dear, NOW we’re in for a shit show. “Keep Bikini Bottom Beautiful” is more example of the world wanting to make Squidward suffer. True, with the wagon he deserves it, but otherwise, it’s just him taking everyone’s shit. And must I mention Squilliam being pretty insufferable? “A Pal for Gary” is INFAMOUS. If I have to explain what’s wrong with this episode, you’re probably a lost cause. Poor Gary…SpongeBob should not be THIS dumb. With “Yours Mine & Mine” we see how Patrick has devolved into the OPPOSITE of a so-called best friend. He acts more like a bully, a FAR cry from his days in the first four seasons. How “Kracked Krabs” managed to be the least infuriating is beyond me. A lot of people theorized that the Krabby Patties are made of crab meat because they never see any crab in the show aside from Mr. Krabs, but here we see several. If you guys like them, good on you. But for me, they’re far from quality. And the worst is still yet to come…but it’s almost here.
