I didn't know canning factories could be built inside navigating ships, in the Gameboy version, the factory exteriors were just like that, part of a ship in the middle of the sea.

0:00 when you chilling at home 0:47 when you realize you forgot to do the dishes and mom is almost home

Yeah, imagine this music playing in the final level of any other game...

it's so weird to hear this song without the grinder sounds consistently playing

After years...I finally heard that this is really a fitting final level music, but it would be better if that in 0:45 you had a run ability that you have to use to run, i mean that part fits perfectly to speedrun meanwhile theres obstacles in your way.

Having the final level be a fucking canning factory with super happy music and a weird final boss feels like a last 'fuck you' from some angry devs who didn't want to make a licensed spongebob game in the first place

I feel like this games soundtrack is inspired by Donkey Kong Country's. They both have atmospheric-esque type music to fit with what's going on in the stage. Don't even get me started with the mechanics they also took from both DKC and Yoshi's Island.

Honestly, this theme would’ve fit better if there was something uncanny about it in the lore of the game. It almost sounds like a factory touring theme except more fast paced. Like, maybe, the factory could’ve looked normal at first but, as you explore deeper into the factory, you find iron dogfish who supposedly makes people go missing in the factory or hides any dark secret really. Mermaid man and Barnacle Boy didn’t even know who he was and that shows the mystery of it all. Edit: yes I found out a year ago
