I just started reading Terry Pratchett! He was my dads favourite author and had every single book signed, and since my dad passed away I thought it would be remind me too much of him, but I'm loving them! And I got the illustrated edition of the philosopher's stone for Christmas so I'm reading that too
Currently reading "Smoke Gets in Your Eyes" by Caitlin Doughty. I think you'd like her, if you don't already know of her. She has a YT channel called "Ask a Mortician". Re: bookmarks - train tickets, tissues, bits of envelopes, candy/chocolate wrappers, bits of fabric from sewing projects, whatever is flat. I never seem to have a proper bookmark handy when I need one.
I'm reading "The Witch's Book of Self-Care: Magical Ways to Pamper, Soothe, and Care for Your Body and Spirit" and I think it's right up your alley! Also it's pronounced roy-boss lol. It's a very South African thing.
I don't have much time for leisure reading these days. The last two books I read were Engineering Materials and Science and Technical Mathematics with Calculus. The last fiction I remember reading was one of the Anita Blake Vampire Hunter books by Laurel K. Hamilton. As always, I enjoy your unboxing videos.
I did have to deliberately search for your channel yesterday! Was telling my daughter how much I missed you. She told me to type your name into the search. I did. And found it again at last!
You are SO adorable when you get delighted! It's such a joy to watch someone being excited and pleased with things. So much of RU-vid these days is people griping about how much things suck. (Life is hard enough as it is! Let's share things that we ENJOY!) :-D
#1- didn't know Practical Magic was a book AND #2- THE AUNTS ARE MY FAVOURITE!!!! Thanks so much for telling us about the prequel. I need to order it RIGHT NOW!!!! And Happy Christmas!
Currently reading a Court of Mist and Fury! I adored everything in this box! Rooibos is mine and my sons favorite tea! It's one of those that's sweet enough that you dont have to add sugar!
Your green makeup would be perfect for Christmas. I'm going in dark green and black. My next book may be The Institute Stephen King. Hope it's more like his older stuff.
1st: I LOVE THIS LOOK! The green is amazing. 2nd: You are so adorable. 3rd: I'm reading the Outlander series as well as the Black Dagger Brotherhood series.
I live in the US and an ordered some older single boxes (i choose the ones i wanted by watching your unboxing videos). Well customs had a problem with some of the items. I send the guy your unboxing videos to show him exactly what was in them and they approved them! Just wanted to thank you for these awesome videos i wouldnt have gotten my amazing boxes if it wasnt for you!!
As a spoonie witch, this box so far was so fantastic to watch you open. By far, my personal favorite. Usually I only absolutely love one or two items in these videos usually but holy crow. This box was fantastic and I might have to get one myself! Also, When you made that face before revealing the book mark, I thought you found something smelly like a candle and were excited to smell it hehehe Have a great Christmas amd great day Kaya 🖤💜🖤💜🖤💜🖤
Lookin like a gorgeous witch, love you girly! 💜 And much like you I read multiple books at once. I'm currently reading the first book of Mrs. Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children as well as the fourth book in the Graveyard Queen series 😊
Loooooved your make up in this video! And I’m currently reading the last book in the ‘Chroniken der Seelenfänger’ series by Alexey Pehov and I’m really loving it so much, it’s got such an interesting world!
I love make-shift bookmarks. I have a habit of dog-earing my pages or shoving toilet paper in the book. Admitting it makes me feel a little funny, o-well. Thank you for sharing ❤
If you make kombucha please make a video of it! I am looking to try to make it myself in the new year! Also, that olive green make up looks AMAZING on you!
Yeah I'm seriously hating RU-vid right now. I love your videos so much. But I do rely on my notifications to let me know who post. And of course I'm part of the % of people its not notifying of your videos. And out of everyone I watch I want to watch you the most and of course its hiding you from me. Erg...so now off to binge a couple of your videos. ✌🤘💋
I have book marks...chocolate wrappers are just. More convenient. They're just. Right. There. Always. That and clock out slips but. I'm honestly more embarrassed by those then my hord of candy wrappers. P.s. love the green!! And Happy Christmas!!🌲🎁🎀🎉
Alice Hoffman the author of Practical Magic has lots of great books. Her writing style is just dreamy. I'm at the end of The mists of Avalon the movie is really good too. 💖 love your videos Happy Christmas!
If you like kombucha teas, my favorite is raspberry chia. I'm reading "Will my cat eat my eyeballs?" by Caitlin Doughty. And "Ungovernable. The Victorian parents guide to raising flawless children." by Therese O'Neill. I want everything in that box!! Love watching your videos Kaya 😍
So, I wasn't reading anything two days ago, but I just started rereading "Turn Your Pain Into Art" by Ariel Bloomer, for the 8th time. And I remembered you asking about what us viewers have been reading.
The cushion/pillow case and pin are really cute. Love your green make up and jewellery. I am a bit like you and usually have two books on the go. The book I take around with me is currently Nightblood, of the Valencourt Books' Paperbacks from Hell reprints. My home one is currently Smoke Gets in Your Eyes by Caitlin Doughty of Ask a Mortician fame, but I have nearly finished it so will be going on to a Regency romance as I've been really down lately and figure I could use something sweet and fluffy.
I'm reading the last book of the All Souls series by Deborah Harkness, I burned through the first two at the beginning of the month, and I actually have The Rules of Magic and Practical Magic on hold right now and I cannot wait to get my hands on them.
Hello my dear! First - I LOVE your hair all soft and wavy wavy. It frames your face so beautifully! Second - The green!!! Oh what a perfect shade, sort of evergreen and swamp witch all rolled into one! You are as always, with or without make up a stunning Goddess! Third - I'm finally reading the All Souls Trilogy! Pretty dang good 🖤 I'm on book two, Shadow of Night. Thank you for all your posts, I appreciate all the hard work you do!🖤🖤 I don't have the patience or the talent to do elaborate make up. It's kinda like you do it for me, I can live vicariously watching you and pretend (wish with all my heart) that I'm looking in a mirror!!!!
Reading this super cool book/ calendar thing called we-moon. It’s quite witchy/boho, it’s full of art and poetry. I get one every year and they’re awesome 💜
The "Practical Magic" book is actually pretty different from the movie. There are definitely some changes and more to the story! Definitely give it a read! Right now I am reading "The Family Upstairs" by Lisa Jewell.
I love your hair when it's got the puffy waves to it! Currently wallowing in that post reading sadness of being back in reality as I finished my book series. I think they're called no ordinary fairytale or something like that but the books themselves are Knife, Rebel, Arrow, then 2 follow ups in the same universe called Swift and Nomad. They're by R J Anderson if you want to give them a read
The makeup today is gorgeous! What eyeshadow is that? I'm going to pick up that book as practical magic is a fave film so thrilled to learn it's a book with a prequal. Spooky box club just isn't my thing as it's a bit cutsey and kitcjy for my taste but I do always enjoy seeing you unbox them. I'm currenly rereading little women because It's a tradition this time of year passed down from my grandmother to my mum and my mum to me.
I've been reading a ton of books this year, mostly manga books, but I've also been reading books about tarot cards, ancient symbols, crystals, faeries, mythical creatures, and aroma therapy.
I think the book I’m reading right now is called the queen of the shadows. I could be wrong but it is in a series called the throne of glass and I’m just loving it so much
The Rules of Magic is good... but Practical Magic is by far my favourite novel ever! Definitely give it a read after Practical Magic- it's actually quite a different story than the movie.
I unsubscribed from SBC ages ago cause Im saving to move out and I thought the quality of the items wasn't great for the price, although the stuff was so cute! But I really miss it :( watching your reactions to the stuff makes me smile though ! Also your hair looks gorgeous this way!
South African here, drink a lot of rooibos. You pronounce it as ROY BOSS if you're interested. Someone did mention it already in the comments, but just call it red tea. I'm currently reading Jane Austen's Pride & Prejudice. I just enjoy the old English. 😁
The Rules of Magic is one of my all time faves and it's going to be an HBO TV Series!!! practical Magic is actually really cool because the book is very different from the movie. The movie focuses on Sally, the book on Gillian. Alice Hoffman is one of the best authors if you love magic. From what I know, you would like the Green Witch books!
My most favorite thing was the bat mask. I'm reading The Aromatherapy and Essential Oils Sourcebook. I haven't had the budget to buy oils and experiment lately though.
Just saw this in my feed and feel late to the party. But I’m ready two books I got for Christmas which are Gloom by Ricky Olson (yes that Ricky Olson from Motionless in White) which is wonderful, and I’m reading my newest addition to my Neil Gaiman collection which is American Gods and Anansi Boys and I am in love with both.
