Kimo that mermaid wreath is gorgeous soooo creative my luv wow absolutely breathtaking thank you for the rub and buff tip need to get me some of that magic glow I cant choose between them they are both so amazing thank you so much for join us today much luv dear friend
Thank you Joan Friant! It’s funny, I’m not typically a wreath guy, but those are some of my favorite Halloween crafts so far this year! I appreciate it and wish you happy crafting!❤️👋
I do love the Day of the Dead vibe if the mermaid skeleton wreath but my favorite is the BEWARE sign it is so frightfully spooky. I need to try that mercury glass effect. I had something in mind the other day for it but it has now slipped my mind what it was...oh well it will come to me again. Back to crafting making some stuffed fabric pumpkins
Aloha my friend! A mermaid skeleton wreath.....who would have imagined that but you 😉 I do like the flowers on her head.....the perfect touch....and the colors are perfect for a mermaid, and yes it was time to use those shells and they are exactly what the wreath needed. I love Love LOVE the Beware sign!!!! LOL for a miniute I thought you were going to go with Candy Corn colors....hee hee hee.....and I'm glad you didn't because the purple looks great with the orange and white. Good choice 😊 And I really love that "mercury glass" look! I will have to try that sometime. It's so beautiful with the candle flickering. Definitely a high end look. Great projects 😊💗🤗 Hugs....Janie
Awww that means a lot to me Janie! These projects were so fun to make, and i’m just feeling so inspired this Halloween! Today Stan and I are going to work on her front yard display to scare the crap out of our neighbors and to spread a little joy. You can do both at the same time, right?🤣 Thank you!❤️👋
Very cool Kimo!!!! These were great. My favorite was the beware sign!! Loved it! I unfortunately wasn't able to find that beware sign at DT this year, but I did just find the mermaid skeleton a few days ago. So that's exciting. Loving the colors you used on the mermaid. Thanks for collabing with me!
Aloha and mahalo Camaro! I just absolutely love Halloween and skulls and skeletons, and happy that you approve. So great to Kalab with you as well! ❤️👋
Great projects, Kimo!! That Frida mermaid is so adorable! I love the mercury glass technique - definitely need to try that one!! The BEWARE sign was unexpectedly my favorite. For some reason, the way you stacked the skulls reminded me of pictures of the Paris catacombs. Mahalo!! ❤❤❤
Hello there, I'm new to your channel and enjoy your videos. No matter how busy you are, you always find time to clean and decorate your house. It makes you great. Thank you for sharing great videos that inspire us!
Tat mermaid wreath is super awesome - the original LIttle mermaid died so yeah very accurate to the story! awesome job glad to be in this collab with you!
Howzit Kimo. This has been a lesson in anatomy; not so sure about physiology. When the mermaid is in half she reminds me of the character in Beetlejuice who is sitting beside herself. I was thinking it was very Frida Kahlo looking and you admitted you were inspired by her work when making it. “BEWARE” bone heads ahead 💀. These guys are too cute. The Mercury glass vase is before my time. I think you and your little frondie things are time travelers. I haven’t thought about rub n buff for a long time. I used it a lot when I made ceramics. I no longer have a kiln. I should have electricity and water put into the barn and spend time slip sliding away…. 🤙🏼🐬🌈👻
First of all this is the first time watching your videos and I’m so excited!!! That mermaid wreath blew my mind I had seen that skeleton at the store and didn’t know what I would do with it and now I need to go get it now. Then the beware sign and skeleton heads I did buy but still didn’t know what to do and you did it again!!! Then lastly the fish bowl I never thought of that idea and I absolutely loved it. You are very creative and I can’t wait to watch the rest of your videos you have totally inspired me and you gave me an excuse to go shopping. Thank you for sharing your amazing talent ❤️❤️❤️
You knocked it out the park again. The mermaid wreath is stunning! I was totally thinking Freida Khalo and the movie Coco when you started adding the color and flowers. And that beware sign, oh my goodness, I love it. I haven't been able to find those. Great job. Tfs.
I love them all! That mermaid is magnificent, I currently have her hanging on my Halloween tree but she needs something done to her after seeing this! So great Kimo! 🖤 🧡
I didn’t finish. The second one really made me BooBoo happy❗️I think with your color choices were right on. Come on you live on a beautiful island 🏝❗️ I probably would have used the dry brush gold a little less, it took some of that lovely purple away. Overall your creativity shines❣️💀😻
Lol Kimo, I'm not really into Halloween, but i have to say your side of creepiness is pretty cool haha, the mermaid came out really pretty & the flower / bowl, & your painting technique are spot on tfs. Big Thumbs Up 👍🥰🙏
Aloha and mahalo Bobbie Flores! Yeah, I can get a little carried away with Halloween. And yes, I’ve got that creepy site for sure! Don’t tell.🤣 I appreciate that so much❤️👋
The mermaid 🧜♀️ not my style but beautiful all the same, I was about ready to say I like the beware sign the best and the you did the tea light bowl, vase...again I love them all ♥️🤙🏼
I am going to give a tip or putting heat gun weigh to close to plastic use it back further it's cheaper plastic try pulling it back and slowly heating it to melted in shape less of a chance of getting bird and plastic melting in a weird position
What a great idea! Such a wonderful tip, I’ll have to keep that in mind if I ever want to manipulate that cheap plastic again🤣Thank you so much Emily B! 👋❤️
Of course the Mermaid is STUNNING!! The colors layered turned out really WOW! Like a beautiful sea salt Patina. And the flower colors PERFECT!! I bet you could create a hauntingly eerie version that would blow watchers right out of the water! LOL pun intended! I can see grazing dark greens with some black as if rotting and decaying. I see spag Moss dripping from her like dead seaweed!! If I had 2 I would try it and send you a picture but I like your version better so I don't want to waste mine on a dark version when I can try to create you're colorful beauty! Thank you for your creative talents.
Awww that means a lot to me Jody Mead! Honestly, I bought that little tube so many years ago, I don’t remember where I got it from! I wonder if Amazon has it? Thank you!❤️👋
Kimo, these are really gorgeous! Love the colors of the mermaid wreath and the mercury glass candle holder. I haven't seen the mermaid skeleton or the beware sign at any of my DT near me. Terrific ideas. TFS. Have a great weekend!
Mahalo Margaret Scott! That is so great to hear. And I’m sorry about the DT stores, sometimes it’s just a little hit and miss, isn’t it? I know they are struggling around here where I live. Hope you are well!👋❤️
Mermaid wreath is wonderful. I've saved the video so I can try to create my own next year. It will go great with my sea-themed guest bathroom. Thank you!
Kimo, you are in a crafting class all on your own. You made some gorgeous, creepy looking stuff. Wish I could give you more than just one thumbs up. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Hello Kimo, I like the the Wreath N the Beware sign like what you did with Rub N buff,I never heard of it. That makes a big difference if you thinking it missing something 🤔 Ah Rub N buff.lol I see N of your Videos I was wondering why it was my settings I think. See then know. Take Care N Stay Safe 🤍💙🤍
I totally agree M.W.! It’s one of my favorite tools in my Halloween arsenal. It’s glamorous and antique and can be spooky all at the same time. Mahalo for visiting!👋❤️
I love that you experiment on camera because it shows how things can or cannot work. All these are beautiful as always. But I love the believe sign. Makes me want to draw it☺️
I live in the UK and I'm so sad we don't have much in our pound shops compared to your dollar tree. But I still enjoy watching Halloween craft videos to see what other people come up with.
Oh Kimo, you really outdid yourself with the mermaid skeleton wreath! Frida would love it! I like it that you try things out on camera so we learn along with you.
When heat molding some items I sometimes use a candle instead of a heat gun because the heat gun spreads the heat too wide. I loved your mermaid wreath! My DTs have been a waste of time this year so far.
What a great idea! That totally makes sense because there’s a more concentrated heat source. And I’m sorry about your DT stores, they all seem to be struggling around here too. Thank you so much SteamDespair! 👋❤️
Aloha and mahalo Kathie Brown! I appreciate that so much. Sidenote: another subscriber recommended using a candle for melting purposes. It might give them more focused heat source. Just thought you might want to know❤️👋
PLEASE. please don't say "IF THAT MAKES SENSE." It;s so disrespectful. I love your videos I found today. I would love to see you do a haunted house if you have not done one. I think it would be amazing. But, I won't sub if you keep saying if that makes sense.
You are sooo talented Kimo! It's OK to experiment with us, that way we know what not to do. 😉 I LOVE all of your creations Kimo! ❤ I can't ever pick a favorite! 😁 Thank you soo much for sharing ❤
Awww that means a lot to me Mandie! Thank you! I’m glad you like the experimenting, even though sometimes it doesn’t come out perfect! Hope you and the family are doing well❤️👋
