I went to see a horror movie today. It might have been good, but I kept getting distracted by this clown in the seat next to me. He was absolutely destroyed on red wine, kept screaming at nothing, and when he was asked to stop by the theatre attendant, he kept passing it off as a joke and saying that he was only "Getting it out of his system." Lo and behold, when there was a real scare, he jolted and made this loud yodelling noise, ripping his goon bag in the panic and spraying cheap box wine all over my expensive white shirt. If that wasn't bad enough, he kept criticising the movie's directorial choices and psychoanalysing the characters onscreen, telling me how this and that was "how they get you." Eventually I got fed up and spoke to a staff member, who asked him to leave. I thought that would be the end of it, but he kept taking loud sips of his drink and pretended not to hear her, refusing to leave even long after the movie had ended. What a clown. I heard they had to call the police, and it took ten cops to take him down.
Oh god the part at around 18:00 where he starts talking about ice cream with the "tick-tock" background music feels like I'm being water tortured and forced to listen to him rant
13:33 local streamer has been brainwashed by chat winter soldier style and now physically cannot hear a phone ring near a fan without making a phone guy reference
A phone and a fan on a desk, with two halls either side, a chair, and a person on the phone repeatedly saying "hello", "hi" and "uh.." c'mon, it's a FNAF reference
it is funny but if you think about it your brain has to use a finite amount of processing power spread throughout your 5 senses, like the other comment said its the same reason people turn down the radio to focus on driving
as a fellow adhd man its literally impossible to read if someone or something is making distracting noises at you. I have to turn down music to read constantly
@damn boi yes I did comment this exact thing on another highlights video from the same stream. I think the joke was funny enough that it was worth it to shamelessly repeat it on the official channel and hope nobody notices :)
@@megakillerx holy shit did Majima Goro, from the popular videogame series about very serious crime drama and karaoke known as "yakuza", just reply to MY comment?
The data log for the paper cut out jump scares mention that they were really only effective at giving the elderly heart attacks, so it’s understandable why they worked so well against Jerma.
I work as a server in an elderly care home and the ice-cream rant around 18:00 feels EXACTLY like the conversations I am subjected to while trying to take the resident's orders.
jerma having a mental breakdown over the phone and then trying not to do the fnaf 1 phone call is so fucking hillarious to me its like it's seared into his brain, its his sleeper cell activation code but all it makes him do is recite the call himself
I've seen Vargskelethor Joel play this and be *completely unfazed* by all jumpscares, and now Jerma plays it and jumps over a smily pumpkin made out of cardboard. I somehow feel complete.
@@shoco462 i thought it was a reference to the joke ster_ did in terraria in which he recorded jerma saying "hello" in various ways and played it back to jerma, causing jerma to reflexively say "hello" back.
I love how he was shittalking the game saying "its not gonna be scary because I know it'll happen" then within like 30 seconds he gets scared by a little pumpkin with a face
@@NikolasoGames apparently they actually got sued by some trademark troll. Akuma Kira (the dev) decided they'd rather not bother wasting money defending the title and just changed it. This is also referenced in endless mode at some point. Don't remember how long ago this was but I think it was before the "renovation" came out. The title of the game for a while just had duct tape over the original until hd.
@@voidofspaceandtime4684 IIRC it was a German(?) company called Spooky House or something like that. Obviously anyone with a brain would be able to tell the two apart, but anything to try and make a quick buck amirite?
The subject seems to be speaking to some imaginary person or persons that he calls "chat". He seems to actually believe that he is speaking to someone. Fascinating.
@@Cheeseboiga Replying late, but one of the monsters is a ghost that eats you if it kills you, and you can talk to the cat during the “threshold of consciousness” segment. The comment’s phrasing made it sound waaaay worse than it actually is XP
25:01 I already said this in a highlights video from a fan, and I'll say it again: Jerma literally turns into Dirk the daring in this part. He would do a great job portraying him if they ever decide to do a Live-Action movie.
The atmosphere of the game is pretty perfect, it switches tone and vibe at the perfect time so when you just start to get used to things it changes things up. Also, the cardboard cutouts are great because you never expect it when you are getting chased. The cardboard cutouts also can block you from getting away from a monster as well as jumpscaring you.
Jerma the master at air guitar returns in an all new adventure. Will he charm these ghosts with his humble tunes or fall to the frights ahead of him? Find out now.
am i going insane or is 15:33 a distorted version of one of the yoshis story ost songs EDIT: it DEFINITELY is. and he mentioned the yoshis story ost earlier???? but there was no comment about the music? whats going on
The most powerful specimen is the one at the start where whatever you're controlling it with goes all fucky and you have to keep fighting against your sight just drifting up and a little to the right
Holy shit I found it. I watched this when I was about 3 or 4 (I'm not sure who was playing it) and I have had the memory in my head for 10 years and I finally found what the memory was of. Fucking finally.
