Recently I came across information that RU-vid Music pays for listening much more than Spotify, but I could not even find an analogue of Spotify For Artist for this service. Perhaps there is less competition for the algorithm to start working in favor of new releases from novice performers. It would be interesting to know your opinion
Hi, thanks for the knowledge I really appreciate. Am an artist but I got to realise that I have about 5 Spotify profiles and there is one am so interested in. I used about 2 distributors so I don't know how the other 5 profiles where created some with songs I collaborated on and others my singles. I would love to only remain with one but I don't know how I can do it. I request to be advised on what to do. Thanks
Hey Andrew do you have any advice on how to better convert free Spotify users? I've been running some FB campaigns that have high amounts of link clicks but aren't directly translating into streams as they should be. What I've discovered after digging deeper is that free users aren't able to play my track when they clink the link. They either play something else from my discography or random radio songs. I also found that free users get a system message that says "You can listen to a song that's shared with you once a day," so if they've already clicked a link that day they aren't able to get the track.

Hey Andrew! That was great! Thank You! I have a question: I am a new Spotify For Artists user with a new release. When I use the regular Spotify app on my phone and search my name 'Zo Kassam', the image at the top of my profile defaults to the album artwork of my first single. How do I change that to display my avatar or header image instead? Like for your profile, on the regular Spotify app, the image at the top of your profile is a square one of you looking right at the camera. How did you get that there? It is different from your header image on the desktop player which is a wide one where you look to the left. Please advise!
You'll want to go onto Spotify for Artists on a Desktop, go to the profile section and click on the top to edit the banner image. In there you can customize your profile picture and your banner.
hey andrew! Sick vid. Have you noticed you cost per conversion going up since you don't do automatic placements anymore? I sure have. Would love to know how your campaigns are doing now.
Ever since late 2020 things have gotten a little bit harder so i've had to spend more time optimizing campaigns. However i've still managed to get prices per conversion down to roughly the same place. For example, Chains is down to $0.13/conversion for just US, Canada, Japan, Australia, and UK, which is the best rate i've ever gotten for those expensive countries. Things always change though, every couple months I find i'm tweaking things a little bit to get back to the results I want. Now what i'm trying is using different landing page services, and much more creative options in the video to try and drive the cost down.
@@AndrewSouthworth thanks for the reply man! really interesting to hear how you're ads are doing compared to mine. I used to be down at like 18 cents per conversion for 1st world countries but lately just even marketing to all spotify countries I'm at around 30 cents per conversion. I'll definitely try different things now to get the cost down. Cheers bro

My Spotify Profile was already claimed and i dont remember doing it, i have my blue check. but im not able to get access to artist spot. how can i find out which email or login was the one that claimed my profile? I have too many profiles but only ONE has my songs the others are blank. Whats can i do?
I've got an EP and a song released on the same label, but I need to change the artist so that when I press it, it goes to my profile. Would I just have to claim it on the Claim my profile section?
Hey Andrew, everytime I want to upload an Facebook AD I have problems with publishing the AD... first they say it's scheduled and then they say Ad's off in the delivery section in my campaign. Hi Andrew, i didn't uploaded any music to Spotify but i have a music at he amuse. And it's waiting for the release day and few days left to release. Am i able to open a Spotify artists acount now ?
At this point you’d probably be better if waiting until the song comes out and getting direct access through your distributor. Getting it ahead of time takes about a week.
Quick question: is it possible to submit to the spotify playlists a song form an upcoming album? Or is this possible only for a single upcoming release? Thanks!
Hi :) , thank you for your informative video. I just found out that my Spotify page was hacked. The hacker has uploaded songs from other artists so that my account is now completely blocked by Spotify. Do you have any idea how an artist can take action against Spotify ? Could you also create a new account as an artist ? Or is then the account locked forever ? Thank you in advance . Best regards
I understand what your saying but that data only takes into account anyone who actually clicked save or put it in a playlist, on your track within the last 28 days. If they saved months ago that would register in the lifetime stats for the track in the stats. Hope that helps you 👍

If me and my friend are dropping a song together but we are separate artist and this will be the first time we drop music would we need 2 separate distrokid accounts or just one ? So in the artist name we put each other with the & symbol ?? Can anyone help ?

I've got a problem managing my Spotify for Artist. Actually 2 problems. First one - I can't log in on the Spotify for Artist Web page. I don't know why, even if my profile is already been claimed by me and verified (in fact, I can log in on my IOS Spotify for Artist app). As soon as I try to access Spotify for Artist Web it's asking me again to claim the profile... Why? The email address is correct. Second problem - using Spotify for Artist App I can't change the avatar image. I upload it, I can see it uploaded and then after a few seconds it disappears and the old image comes back. Can anyone of you help me please?
Dear Spotify: How can we buy your "special offers" if a song is 0000.1 cents per stream? Why I'm I spending $224 a month on a "special offer" when basic streams wont even cover the price of any of your "special offers"? This whole thing needs to be examined and re-examined for the "that makes no damn sense" crowd!!

What do you mean? Every artist gets one for free when you distribute music. Usually your distributor can get you in quick otherwise it can take a couple weeks. I’ve never seen anyone struggle setting up an account.
so i recently changed my artist name and I want to know can you only have one artist per email? i use felipe@blahblah for my initial page then i changed the name and do i need to use a new email to access the new page? I thought one email can hold two artist pages on it or is that not possible?
