I agree. Lake master is awesome. You used to be able to buy individual lakes and not an entire region. I liked buying the lakes specifically way better

Dude Matt thank you for the awesome drone footage of my Hometown Lake !!love the way that the bite went for the tournament, Was hoping to bump into ya while you were up here , there is an Aba tournament on whiskey town this weekend. I know you told me what happened on day 3 but I'm still looking forward to the video to see it ! When the water's running like that spinner Bates in Creek pockets have hit for years Nick wood really got on them that 1st day but he knew what the bite was already! Im going to but some dnl baits flies today!

Yeah the bite changed big time due to the weather changes. I love lake Shasta but I have a hard time finding the plus sized fish that you need to carry a bag!

Hey Matt, good job on the video, appreciate you sharing! I live in VA but flew out to fish the WON Bass Open on Shasta too, lots of fun! My first time in CA and on Shasta, really like the lake! I run Humminbirds too (Solix) and do a fair amount of WP management. I did a fair amount of work with HumminbirdPC but when you move to Solix the WP date/time stamp is no longer compatible with HBPC. I've been using EasyXML and it works really good, just an FYI. Good luck on Clear Lake in April!

18-30ft of water , drop shot wacky rig, soft bites when ever it’s cold in Shasta . If the fish are dark in color they are deep I live in Redding Shasta area

jigs on the rock walls , jigs on main points , drop shot , wacky rig, spoon n tubes water to cold for reaction baits. Good luck man ! Hopefully I’ll be fishing it one yr !

Didn't that lake just fill back up from nearly empty? Can't imagine it's overflowing with fish yet. Can tournaments organizations allow the population to rebound a bit? Or did local fisheries restock? Just curious.

It was never close to empty. It’s a giant lake. Media sensationalized the whole thing. Water is back and lake will be full by the end of the season. Fish population is solid.
