A movmenet based fps in which you can very quickly close the gap + the ability to very rapidly switch weapons = some amazing feeling gameplay. Really excited for this game.
I dunno how feasible it is but seeing your legs when you slide or like have you arm kinda hit the doors as u barge through like mirrors edge would be cool
NGL this is probably what the devs of Cyberpunk 2077 had in mind before they had to cut wall running, damn shame they had to cut so many cool features. Nevertheless I love the genre and I got Sprawl wish listed, can't wait to cover the game on my channel! love how it looks so far!
Some feedback though: If the "ammo" icon was different for each gun, it would make the UI a bit easier to read. Otherwise I'm really feeling *everything else*
Excellent dialogue. The guy voicing it sounds just like Baal from Stargate SG-1. Looks like a really fun game. Can't beat running about blasting things in a dilapidated cityscape. Gonna keep an eye on this one.
fucking *gods damn!* it's like you took Deus Ex, a bit of Doom/Blood, Titanfall and F.E.A.R and blended it all together into pure fuckin' bliss! My only questions are: Will there be a more beefier/hefty sort of Hand gun/hand cannon later on in the game? or perhaps dual SMGs/pistols of some kind? And will there be any sort of Mod support/creation kit? Cause this is the type of gameplay that i've always WANTED to see/have!
Some notes: 1) shoulder-bashing a door would be welcome 2) same for dust particles on hard landings (without forced recovery animation, pretty please) 3) quick melee button without the need to switch to katana 4) forward thrust and ground-slam-from-midair with it as well 5) as others have mentioned, UI could use a lot of work. I'd advise either getting two bars on the left for health and armor (instead of raw numbers), but if you want to keep retro UI - add colour coding (red when low, green when high) to make quick checking easier. Bullet count can be transferred to the gun itself, diegetically, it's universe-appropriate with all the high-tech gear Everything and I mean *EVERYTHING* else is pure perfection, I would buy it in a heartbeat!
Amazing stuff here. A small suggestion for dealing with shield weilding enemies. Add a sliding kick or a leaping kick to knock the shield out of their arms for an easier kill. Great stuff, can't wait to play the full version!
I had a strong feeling that Ghostrunner lacked guns. Fast movement, sliding and wallrunning? As a Titanfall enjoyer I can safely say that this game is going to be really perfect.
Instant wishlist. Please let us adjust UI scale, it seems way too big. Please no motion blur or make it option, unless that was just youtube doing its usual thing, making things blurry, though noticed it even at 4k. Love the shotgun jump, instead of rocket jump. ;P Whoever was playing for the video, give them a rise.
Looks really, really good - only criticism I have is that the motion blur is a tad much, but as always there's options for these things, eventually. High hopes for you guys.
Looking great so far! Really love the music. The action seems tons of fun as well. Any additions I think will just further improve it. Just a bit of feedback from myself, sorry If I repeat what others have said already *Not a big fan of the current U.I, doesn't seem to hinder the player though. Maybe incorporating it into the actual guns themselves as counters or having some kind of wrist/bracelet display health whenever you bring up the inventory/map could be an alternative way to display it. Just my personal preference but I prefer to keep the U.I at a minimal. *Quick Melee attack would be welcomed here as well to keep the pace of combat going instead of slowly swapping between weapons *Watching the player just leap down from the sky onto an enemy really makes me wish there was some kind of aerial take down or execution mechanic *I saw the player slide like once in the video lol so I don't know if all the mechanics are in place yet for it but allowing it to help you build up speed would be great as well. I know you haven't shown us everything yet so maybe you have already taken my thoughts into consideration. I am curious to what the games progression will end up being like other than acquiring new guns. Anyhow keep up the great work guys! Looking forward to seeing more!
I feel like it's crazy good, just wanted to bring a bit of feedback on what could be improved potentially. So feeling of weapons is awesome, graphics awesome, atmosphere is awesome. I think the only thing truly missing is that everything seems a bit artificial, as like in this gameplay video there doesn't seem to be a story told. It's missing that extra spice, a bigger story. It feels like the enemies are placed in a way that makes sense for the gameplay but it doesn't tell a bigger story, it doesn't break the 4th wall, I think more environnement storytelling/or very small cutscenes in the background, and changing the way units spawn to something that feels more believable would bring this game to the next level. Otherwise I will stay play it and it looks awesome, so best of luck!
Some suggestions: 1: The camera feels super low, I'd recommend raising it a bit. 2: The smg looks like it could use just a TAD more damage. It feels a bit like a pee shooter with it's ttk. 3: For your elevators, when you flip the switch will they come back down? Something to think about if the player misses the switch. Otherwise looks great!
no door kicking? seems kind of odd compared to the fast non stop action otherwise just taking sweet time to slowly open the doors seems pretty weird in this case!
This is interesting, looks like a mix between Half-Life 2 and Ghostrunner, though I'm not sure where you're going with these slightly pixelated textures. Still looks really cool though.
The game looks very good, I will wait for it to come out complete and if possible, if it is encouraged or encouraged to release a version for the Linux system.
Good, though I wonder if the 2 fights where you are trapped in arenas are a bit weak level-design wise, they didn't seem to offer as many options as that large rooftops arena at the beginning for example.
I was a little hesistant to watch this at first i was like "ohh meh another muh boomer shooter tryhard game that will be forgotten", but then i watched a little bit and ngl, it seems kinda fun, music is kickass, i like the cheesy late 90s/early 2000s cyberpunk take, and the gameplay itself looks mad, shotgun jumping, wall climbing. Not to keen on the enemy design, seems kinda lame, i'm not gonna lie. But this does look fun af
I hope you guys will add the ability to turn off motion blur and make effects in general look more retro. Having retro models/textures with modern effects creates a dissonance in my mind.
this look pretty nice ! just as personal remark : the "player" look too short compare to the AI & the environment, and the movement speed imho look a bit too high. other than thoses little detail, the game look good !
