Definitely one of the most well done and informative videos on this topic. Can you please comment: if you need more filler than just glaze, meaning you need bondo, in what sequence should you apply the bondo and this dtm primer? Thank you.

I apply filler to the surface, directly to the metal. Some people apply it over the primer. I do not because it was the way I was taught. So I will make my panel as close to perfect as possible before primer. Then guide coat and block sand. I'll use glaze coat to touch up any areas I missed or I feel need attention. Very useful video information. I am going to start a car repaint for my first time. How do you know how much primer or paint to mix up to not run out in the paint gun mid paint job? Also do you need to do anything special to keep the paint gun nozzles from plugging up between coats? Thanks for sharing your knowledge!

I usually mix as I go. Generally between coats. I mix about a quart, fill the gun and go. Then mix another quart as I go. I seldomly ever have a problem with gun clogging. But oviously just clean as needed. Good Luck

Do you always use a sealer before final coat?

Not always. If I have sanding cut thru areas or areas that have been re-repaired and primed in that one spot I like to use it. Also you can use different color sealer to get you closer to your base color. So, black sealer for black basecoat etc. Thanks for watching
