Thank you for the quick reply, your spray can shaker is one of the nicest I've seen, you can buy a shaker but why, more fun to make it..i just watched your video again and you answered both my questions in the video..lol good job thank you
sounds like a good idea. I would have done that too. I too have the problem of too many cans to shake and realizing there is a better way to do it. Where would I buy strips of metal like that? I have a DC stepper motor, but I think it might be easier for me to buy an old vacuum motor, would that be powerful enough sir?
Nice work. Ive seen several vids wherepeople used light dimmers. If you ever see it smoking or you start having probs with it. Try swapping the dimmer to a motor dimmer for a ceiling fan. Its designed to control motors whereas a light dimmer is not. If it goes south it could take the motor with it.
Cool shaker. I made one as well, out of a discarded washing machine motor and gearbox. I like looking at all the different ones people made, because noone likes shaking paint. Lol! I got a little video of it on my channel if u want to see what it looks like. I find it funny, makes me laugh when I use it.
@@MyRobertadams Thanks it's not as practical as yours. But I can switch the polarity of the start capacitor so motor spin in the opposite direction. That engages the spin mode. I've only done it a couple of times. Using plywood as a shield. It literally spins so fast if the can were to come loose, it would send it in nothing short of a low earth orbit. Lol!
A contradiction of terms: I was lazy, so I built this. Lazy people build nothing. You could put in a bottle of Coke and shake it and give it to somebody nasty.
