Spreading Manure with New Holland Tank Spreader-Barrel Spreader/Venison Recipe 

Before Winter decides to hit Minnesota, we're taking advantage of the warm temps and cleaning out the heifer barns. We have the International 1256 hooked to a New Holland Flail Tank Spreader or Barrel Spreader. After that, Alan and the boys, are busy splitting some firewood. Lastly, Jennifer, shares the family recipe for venison backstraps.
Venison Recipe
1and1/2 lbs venison tenderloins
1 cup butter
1 cup grape jelly or strawberry jam
1 TBSP soy sauce
1 TBSP worchestershire sauce
1 TSP Salt
1 TSP pepper
1TSP garlic powder
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Melt butter in large bowl. Add the rest of the ingredients(except venison) to butter. Microwave again for a minute or two. Cover the bottom of a 9 by 9 glass dish (or something similar size) with a bit of the sauce. Layer the venison in the dish. Pour the rest of the sauce over the venison. Bake for 45 minutes.
