I want to read "Monstrilio" so bad. I'm planning on reading "Braiding Sweetgrass" in November. Nice variety! Have fun with your family. 😎📚👍

Great recommendations! I know you didn’t enjoy Thornhedge as much as some other T Kingfisher books, but I think it is very fitting for springtime with its subjects of awakening from long slumber, power of water, and a toad 😊

I love love your shirt/dress/top thing speaking of spring! I went out to borrow the tea dragon society ASAP from Libby. I'm reading One Hundred Years of Solitude and Hidden Figures and could use a light-hearted break.

The Spring activities I'm looking forward to the most are going to New York in April with my husband to see a math comedy show and of course the new Taylor Swift album dropping mid April as well :) So many excellent recommendations! I've always found reading for the seasons a bit out of reach because I'm from Australia and our seasons are backwards so I used to get major fomo but I recently moved to the states so I'm excited to join in on the seasonal reading fun! I think I might go out and get a copy of Tress which I have been meaning to read since it came out since it sounds like the perfect book for me!!

Omg „Monstrilio” sounds so interesting, and weird I need to read it asap! A lot of the books you mentioned I want to read, and can’t wait to get to them. Emerald sea is already on my bookshelf waiting 🌷🌱 Our reading taste is so similar, but omg the way I hate “This is How You lose the time war”, the language was too flowery for me, and I still don’t know what this book was about. I totally can understand why people love it, but it wasn’t for me. I don’t like poetry, and I’m still in a reading slump after this book its only 188 pages, but it took me more than a month to read it 😭

A good classic spring read to me is always winnie the pooh, it not only brings me back to childhood but brings with it that feeling of being so carefree that everything feels new and exciting which is exactly how I wanna feel in springtime when earth seems to reawaken 🌸🌷

Was I in a bookstore today and see a book by Catherynne M. Valente whose name I only recognized due to you? Yes. Did I buy it without knowing anything about it? Also yes.
