Spring Cleaning My Entire House *EXTREME!* 

Amber you should totally get a roomba. It does all the nasty floor wiping and vacuuming for you and you can put little googly eyes on it too to make it like another little pet!

I love the betta! Hes so pretty! I love bettas and jave kept a LOT of them. Here are a coupel of tips! 1.) 1 inch of fish needs 1 gallon on tank space minimum- not just for space reasons but for ammonia production. Bettas normally range from 1.5 to 2.5 inches and your boy looks on the bigger side. 2.) Bettas are super territorial fish! They are actually known as fighting fish and have been gambled on (sadly) in the past. That being said, they will kill any tank mates and they should be kept away from mirrors as they will give themselves brain damage trying to fight their reflection and also its just super stressful for them 3.) Speaking of stress, they need some kind of house to hid in. Be it the classic castle or a hollow treasure chest, even the royals need to be able to get out of the piblic eye from time to time XD fake plants will also hel him feel less stressed. 4.) I see your pearls in this tank. Its cute, but could be toxic- definitely stick to stuff that is rated for aquariums. Also, avoid white gravel etc. It will NEVER look clean. If your still want elegance- try the tanish natural stone mix it will look super pretty 5.) Bettas NEED filtration! Yo definitely need a tank with some filter system. Chewy has some really nice kits for $30 that have the tank and filter. I'd also highly recommend a "betta buddy" aka a moss ball. Its a plant that you more or less just drop in and it helps to also filter the water and keep the quality up :) 6.) If you want to avoid cleaning, try to pick a location without too much sunlight. Algae grows in sunny spots. Obviously don't keep your betta in a dark closet but less natural sun light will mean less cleaning. 7.) Speaking of cleaning, make sure you are feeding your fish the correct amount- NOT per fish food instructions! They want you to over feed! Fish dont have anything telling them they are full in their brains and will eat and eat and eat and poop out any excess. Extra poop= extra ammonia. High Ammonia is the fastest way to kill a fish (this is also why the filtration is so important!) I like the pellets because the portion control is easier- 4 or 5 pellets every other day is what I've always recommended. But this is something every fish owner has their own opinion on. 8.) If you do all this and he starts being slow and lazy, try adding a tank heater! Some fish slow down when it gets cold- sorta like a half hibernation. If your fish is lazy but otherwise healthy, warm him up! 9.)a bit late dor this but, make sure you are treating the tap water and letting it cycle for a day or two before adding your fish or are buying pre conditioned water from a pet store. 10.) Dont forget to float your fish before you add it to the tank. Just leave it in the bag and let the bag float in the tank for a bit so the temperatures slowly even out. You wouldn't appreciate being tossed from a hot tub to an ice bath- neither does your fish lol. 11.) Im giving the typical "Remember, your fish is a living, breathing things that youve taken responsibility for" here. It makes me sad to see how many people go "its just a fish" when they die of totally preventable causes. Do your research and reach out if you have any questions. Bonus fun fact! Watching fish- including bettas- have actually been shown to be helpful in reducing anxiety and helping through panic attacks! Just focus on the fish. No thoughts. Just fish. 🐠 Good luck on your new fish mom adventure!!!

The fish needs a filter and a cycled tank or it’ll struggle and die. You also need dechlorinating solution. Mirrors will cause the fish to “fight” stressing it out if it’s around them all the time. He’s pretty though!

Amber, maybe designate one room for all the packages and then put a giant trash can and scissors in that room too. Then have a wall of shelves for the opened contents you can't be bothered to put in its place yet. It might help keep the packaging mess in one place. Maybe also buy a hanger stand to put in your closet and just hang the clothes you aren't wearing anymore on that stand every once in a while.

Quick cleaning tip for large mirrors. Take a swiffer mop, put the microfiber cloth on it. Spray the mirror and use the mop to wipe. Can do a lage surface that way.

Someone said to create a package area/ room but I wanted to add on to it, create a room designated for packages but make it look amazing. Have you seen the gift wrapping/craft rooms. They can look absolutely beautiful and you can make them look elegant as well.

a tip for the dog fur, i have two huskies and I use the vacuum on both tile and carpet and it collects all the fur the broom doesnt 🫶

I know you said the current fish tank is just temporary, but I just want to encourage you to check out some of my favorite fishtubers to get a better setup for Rutherford the First! Junskitchen has an amazing betta setup. Serpa Designs, MD Fishtanks, and Fish for thought are all great resources. Bettas are super personable fish, and they will live long lives with the proper care. I know that you will be able to provide him a great home, and I just wanted to give you some awesome places to learn more!

Loooove the shoe closet! Great tip: I put my sneakers in a gold basket in the closet to hide my sneakers. Boots use pool noodles from the dollar store they are huge & you can cut them to fill 2-3 pairs of boots. Especially our tall boots! Just sayin’ they will look beautiful! 💃🏻💕

Tip for the mirrors, if there's ever streaks you can't get off, use a tad bit of spray furniture polish, like Pledge and old newspaper....*used to clean houses and this totally works 😘...just don't spray too much as you would with the glass cleaner because you will have to wipe for 3 years lol, literally just the lightest spray of the furniture polish will do wonders!

Oh no, Amber pls. Get this fish a square aquarium. Rounded walls make fish get insane, it can get blind because it can't see properly

Beta fish actually need a very large tank with aquarium plants and filters for the water! You can still find things that look very cute to decorate their living space. Though, I do really recommend you do some research and find what your beta needs!

Dear Amber get tupperware window towels to clean the mirrors! You only need water for them!

Amber, you need some clear acrylic jewellery/makeup/perfume/brushes organisers...they can be stacked, homogeneous look, some with felt compartments, pull out drawers, lift tops, carousel for earrings/necklaces, etc. Will really look fantastic in your decor..

That fish needs a water filter and a water heater he is a tropical fish he will die with out them but he can survive in a small tank I have one and they are really nice fish to have I hope u take my advise
