Sam thank you. You’ve been helping me with my cut. Started cutting at 208lbs I’m down to 196lbs and holding most of my muscle. Veins are popping out in new places. Thanks for the knowledge and helping me go harder.

I agree !!! Do what works for you. It’s so many styles of working out. I just learned about powerbuilding . Just like all machines don’t fit all bodies and you may feel it in a different location than someone else.

May as well start a journal in the comments since i watch sam so much lol Day 1, April 27, 2024 I’ve decided i’m gonna start taking lifting more seriously than i have been for the past year, i’ve set up a 6 day training routine and am working on a diet plan that i can make work over the summer, today is my first day of it, decided to follow in sam’s footsteps and do legs/abs today, it sucks that i have to work it into what’s probably gonna be a day of studying, but i’ll make it work. Wish me luck! (For anyone wondering here’s the schedule) Monday: Push Muscles (triceps, chest, delts) Tuesday: Pull Muscles (biceps, back) Wednesday: Abs, Legs, Forearms Thursday: Push Muscles (triceps, chest, delts) Friday: Pull Muscles (biceps, back) Saturday: Abs, Legs, Forearms Cardio every morning, gonna incorporate self improvement into this too

Why not do forearms on pull day? They’re gonna be pretty spent after pull day anyway so it’s kinda weird to hit them again a day later. I’d also do rear delts and traps on pull day. Are you doing your arms first before getting into compound movements? Because that’s moronic.

I’ve done both light and heavy. I think if you are going light it has to be to failure. I’ve only seen harsh muscle stimulation only at the end of a high amount of reps.

In reference to training your own body, people always push back when I tell them I don't like to squat for my quads. Leg extensions and sissy squats really work for me, but a normal squat, leg press, smith squat, etc just doesn't hit the quads very well for me, but people will argue with me over my own body. I think I know my own body better than other people lol

another great video. Just a reminder eventhough I'm a nobody. You can do controlled sets and still progress in weight. If you're doing bench and can control 315 for 12 times...that's big weight, decent reps and if it's controlled on the muscle then it's everything. It's not heavy and loose form vs. light and great form...What about heavy and great form. It's possible.
