People topdress then core but this is a little odd. I've been doing this a long time. Never seen solid tine, topdress, core. Must be very early season.
as a 35 yr superintendent, this may be the most ridiclous video I've ever seen......you deep tine with a pull behind tractor, but hand toss sand? hard to believe you could find workers to acually do this!
Yes. I am extremely confused by this as well. It is almost like he's decided this is a member event and wants to see how many show up to help. Then he decides to use every piece of equipment he has for the hell of it. I don't understand.
I've been a super for 15 years and in the golf business since I was litteraly a child. I've never seen something so outrageous in my life done on a golf course. Whoever is getting paid to come up with the aerification program needs to be fired yesterday.
lol wathcing these guys throw shovels to apply sand makes me feel great that i have a spreader and I only have my 5 acres. I dont see how any golf course cant justify having one. shame
Making your employees throw sand by hand and sweep in with brooms when you have a pro pass and drag is the most whip cracking ridiculous thing I have ever watched. Another super trying to outthink the room.
