Yea, it's stock! The R1200GS K25 with the DOHC engine has by far the best stock sound of any bike I know.

Hmm...that's not so easy to answer...I like the tractor factor of the 1150 and the features a 1200 K50/51 offers. The 1250 was already "too perfect" for me. All things combined my heart says K25 with the DOHC engine. The sound and feeling of that bike is just pure magic to me.

@@StromerRU-vid That's the bike that I want to buy. I had a 1150 and felt in love with that one. I move to a different country and bought a 1100. My height is 193 or 6'3'' and some people say that the 1100/1150 are more roomier and maybe more comfortable for tall people... would you agree? I drove a friend`s 2017 GSA and don't remember to be specially comfortable in that one...(Although I really felt the improvement in weight) Thanks a lot for your answer 😁

@@adolfocano8690 I would say that you have more space for your legs on a K25 than on a 11x0...no wonder, same seat height, but the pegs are 30mm lower on the K25. On my 1150 I have to go completly crazy to scrape pegs. On a 1200 K25 it's not that hard. For your height, the GSA would be nice, but as you said...the weight. Just be aware of the servo brakes used on the K25 up to ~2007.

@@StromerRU-vid Thank you for your super quick answer. I am struggling to decide which if normal or adventure (DOHC), I also like high speed low rpms so the 1150 overdrive was amazing for me...The 2008 to 2010 have better higher speed capabilities right (more speed less rpms)? I was looking for a DOHC adventure video from you but I did not find it....when? 😇😄

@@StromerRU-vid OK, hört sich schon besser an als meine 2007 mit 98PS. Toll gefahren👍🏻 Überlege eine 110PS mit ESA zu kaufen da mir das Fahrwerk zu hart ist. Fahre zur Entspannung, kein Hobbyrennfahrer, da nervt das etwas harte Fahrwerk. LG Florian

@@twinspark540 Die DOHC K25 Modelle mit ESA sind schon sehr komfortabel, wenn das Fahrwerk auf Weich steht. Allerdings muss man damit auch etwas aufpassen...mit der Weichen Einstellung setzt bergab in einer Kehre zuerst der Sturzbügel auf und dann erst die Raste! Zumindest mit den SW Motech Bügeln...

@@StromerRU-vid OK, gut zu wissen. Hab derzeit ein Wilbers drin (war beim Kauf dabei) das ist unfassbar hart, nochmals schlimmer als das Originale. Leider sind ESA Fahrwerke wohl anfällig, ist nun mal so bei viel Technik. Leider wohl nicht mehr alle Ersatzteile verfügbar, das ist ganz schlecht. Vielleicht lasse ich das Wilbers etwas komfortabler umbauen, sofern möglich... LG Florian

@@twinspark540 Die Gen 1 ESAs sind eig. sehr zuverlässig. Dein Problem klingt jetzt aber eher nach zu harten Federn...vielleicht war einer der Vorbesitzer so ein 120kg Typ?
