Thanks for the introduction to Legend textiles (previous video), I got some lovely fabrics from them now added to my stash. I'm planning on a couple of long sleeve woven and jersey tops for spring to keep me going until it's warm enough for all my short sleeved tops. Happy sewing

I love your Hovea. I’ve made 2 and love them. You reminded me I made one last year for spring and it’s in the loft! I’ve also got the Belemite dress but haven’t made it yet. It’s on my list for spring with the Peony and the Norman jumpsuit. I’ve made the Bob pants twice but I found them hard to style. I also used a soft but thick linen and did French seams which just didn’t work - the pockets as are just flap around. I’ve donated both pairs. I’m only 5 ft 2 and found they overwhelmed me. I love making a jacket and I’m making the free Hanbok Vest. It might be something you like for some extra warm. Lovely bright clothes Sam.

You're going to be very busy - I love all your plans and your fabrics. Thank you for all the inspiration and info on patterns - I'm quite new to all this so it's great to see what's out there. As for my plans I've almost finished the tilda blouse made from a charity shop duvet cover. And then I'm going to make the Be Mine blouse from Pattern Emporium.

Great vlog, thanks for the shout out. I finally finished my one hour top at home when my machine wasn’t playing up. Currently making my Tea dress for my wedding next weekend. I need to make some more bottoms instead of living in jeans. Look forward to seeing you in May and July x

Great vlog as always I have made a top a while ago with hidden buttons as long as you follow the instructions it’s basically an extended width placket that you fold in and over you should be fine I will show you mine at the virtual social if you like on Saturday regards Linda ❤️❤️

Love your fabric choices. Have you taken a look at the new Belleville jeans/pants from Itch to Stitch? They are a barrel leg pant. I tested them. They are so comfortable. Some of the testers made tbem in linen. ITS also released a great top this week. Thanks for sharing your makes and plans. Love your bright colors!

I'm into jewel tones, they suit me best, but have been choosing more multi-coloured fabrics lately. I am currently making my third Frida Blouse, I've just finished a Westcliff Dress and am planning another. I have 18 garments to be made on my sewing plans list and have the fabrics for all of them :-)

How about the worker trousers from the Modern Sewing Co for the chambray. I love Hetty's patterns and she does great tutorials and pattern hacks.

Great quilted jacked Sam - lovely colour on you too. Good job! Like the 2 piece floral top/skirt. You’ve got some great plans - all beautifully colourful just as I’d expect from you! 😄 As someone who has made lots of summer in NY versions 🤣, do you think it would work in a more structured cotton? Or would it be too ‘sticky outy’? I’ve made it in viscose only so far but I have a beautiful fabric with kingfishers on that I’d love to. Use. I’d appreciate your advice. Thanks 🤗

I’ve made the Bob pants a few times and wanted to make some in denim and was worried about too much bulk so I did a toille where I put in 2 darts at the front, 2 darts at the back and a back zip and was quite pleased with that as I love the shape of the bobs

Hello from Utah, Sam! I love, love the Bob pants - have made 4 pairs. But, I would echo your concern about making them in the fabric you are considering. I made a pair in a weightier stretch twill - but this version came out bulky around the waist and the balloon shape just sticks out and feels too exaggerated (at least for me) with a beefier fabric. Also, have made the Belemnite dress and love it. It will look great in your fabric choice and the piping will work really well.

The burgundy jersey is back in stock but I think I bought the last of the dotty one as they sold it in a chunk of about 5.5m. (Unless they’ve got more in stock.)
