Kody feels he doesn’t need to pay the children for their time on a national television show !!!! Gwen obviously is done with it and I don’t blame her !!!!!! He owes and owes those kids a lot of money ! I’m sure robyns children get their share and no one watches to see that part of the family !!!!

There's videos circulating of Janelle walking into the production house where they do their couch interviews, Ko-Ro have been seen there too. Kody's neighbor spoke to WOACB, who then looked up property records to make sure the neighbor was telling the truth. The producer of the show bought a house down the street from Kody's Mcmansion in July of like 2019, they use it for the crew to live in while they film and the garage has been transformed into the "talking head" interview rooms. In August-September of 2019, Ko-Ro buy the Mcmansion so the story of Robs "not wanting to buy" that house was total BS, it just so happened that the "only" house they could find is 3 doors down from the crew's house? It was all a storyline. The neighbor has been filming them going in and out of the garage with production, for the last 2 weeks. The only people who haven't been there is Christine and David, everyone else is back to "work" as usual, even after Garrison's friends demand the show be canceled since the show was a factor in his un-aliving. The producer Tim quit, not the whole production company, the crew is living in the house now. It appears they're going to turn this tragedy into a storyline, I'll be glad when this show is canceled.

I feel you. Someone else also commented that production companies switched. But I thought the house they used was literally the Head Producer's home. Sooo...maybe that was to wrap up confessionals for season 19? Or maybe that company is still around? inquiring minds want to know!

You're right, Helga. I misspoke. It was the engagement party. I'm dying to see it and see what happened that caused her to get so upset at her mom. Enough to not go to her wedding! TLC's best kept secret.

@@SeniorPerspective I think it's a combination of things that make her not go to her mom's wedding. She was hurt and angry by this engagement party, where her mom hosted the party but didn't let her know that the party was going to be filmed. Gwendolyn only heard about it when she got there, naturally she gets hurt and angry since she didn't get a chance to resign or whether the party would be picked up. It seems most likely that if Gwendolyn had been given the choice, the party would not have been recorded. But then Christine broke her trust and Gwendolyn may have felt as if her mother was using her, which is no doubt a terrible feeling. Let's not forget that Gwendolyn is autistic, and everyone I know personally who has autism has a hard time coping with the unexpected and therefore needs to be prepared for it very well. Something Christine should probably know as a mother of a person with autism. Also, because Gwendolyn is autistic, she is likely to have a hard time processing anger, broken trust, and the feeling of being used (all things she shouldn't have to deal with when her parents are on the other hand). Well, anyway, it's Gwendolyn's engagement party, but from what both Gwendolyn and Mykelti have said, most of the attention was on Kody and David, which I think is very rude of the adults who were there. Now, an engagement party has not been held for me, as it is not customary here in Iceland and I have never been engaged either, but there have been parties held for me because of something in my life, e.g. birthday and graduation parties I think it's likely that I wouldn't be very happy with my loved ones if I was an extra at my party. Anyway, that's where the anger and pain that Christine caused, or the pain that Gwendolyn associates with this event, begins, various of Christine's biological children have throughout the years expressed that they were not happy with their mom, and Gwendolyn is one of them. So it's likely that Gwendolyn got to see how the show was put together, and I think it's likely that it happened shortly before series 18 aired, because that's when Gwendolyn starts to show signs that she's not quite happy. In the first few episodes of season 18 if I remember correctly every episode Christine said or did something that was either a breach of confidentiality in Gwendolyn's opinion (eg something Gwendolyn had told her mom in confidence but her mom then tells a family member and the world at the same time) or something that indicated that Christine doesn't know where Gwendolyn is in life, and thus it could be interpreted as Christine not being interested in knowing. It was like fuel to Gwendolyn's fire so that the trust, the hurt and everything else got bigger and bigger, or that's how I interpreted what Gwendolyn said. So when Christine and David's wedding day approached, I think it's likely that Gwendolyn didn't trust herself to go because she probably didn't trust that she wouldn't blow up at her mom, which she didn't want to do at the wedding where it would have been bad for the mood. Then came the golden opportunity, an upcoming exam that had to be studied for. She informs her mother and together they come to the conclusion that it is wiser for Gwendolyn to stay home and study rather than for her to come. I think it's likely that Gwendolyn didn't tell her mother everything else because even though Christine was sad that Gwendolyn didn't make it, she didn't know why. I do hope, however, that sometime between October 2023 and May 2024, Gwendolyn and Christine have had a conversation without a camera crew so that these wounds are no longer hanging over them. I don't know if I'm right, but this is my theory based on what family members have said and what I've interpreted.

I agree 💯. It's utterly revolting. This is a beautiful young man in his YOUNG LIFE. I am totally sure Kotex will make it all about him along with Robyn. They are the definition of what a malignant Narcissist is. I am more than likely just going to get the spilled tea from the content creators so if I get disgusted I can just move along and skip it in whole. My personal opinion is I hope they don't mention it. Because TLC will make a mockery of the poor young man and make a circus out of it. TLC has ZERO CLASS.

I agree. But that was when we were seeing those kids all the time on the show. Not sure people care about a wedding episode for the kids now. At least not a full wedding episode.
