This Spring Roll recipe is inspired by a dish called Lumpia Semarang (Spring rolls from Semarang), Semarang is the capital city of Central Java 😊So yummy, tasty and perfect for snacking, finger food or starter🥰, I hope you enjoy the video and happy cooking ♥️
Ingredients:
For the chicken:
300 gr chicken breast chopped into small pcs
pinch of salt
pinch of white peppercorns
1 tbsp sweet soy sauce (kecap manis)
For the prawns:
100 gr prawns chopped into small pcs
pinch of salt
pinch of white peppercorns
3 tbsp vegetable oil
6 pcs (30 gr) shallots
4 pcs (20 gr) garlic
10 gr dried shrimps soak in the water for one hour
250 gr bamboo shoots
70 gr carrot
50 gr glass noodles (weight before soaking in the water )
1 egg with a small pinch of salt
1 1/2 tbsp sweet soy sauce (kecap manis)
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
Pinch of white peppercorns
16 pcs large spring rolls skins
Spring Rolls glue:
3 tbsp plain flour
1/4 cup of water
For the pickle:
1-1/2 cucumber
2 shallots
5 small green chillies
1 1/2 tbsp rice vinegar
2 tbsp sugar
1/4 tsp salt
For the sauce:
1 tbsp vegetable oil
2 pcs garlic
1 cup (250 ml) freshwater
1 tbsp sweet soy sauce (kecap manis)
1 tbsp salty soy sauce
3 tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp chicken bouillon powder
1 tbsp tapioca starch
2 tbsp fresh water
