I have been catching fresh winter broodstock in April and May.The guides are all crying about it because it conflicts with their spring Chinook fishing in the Columbia and Willamette.That doesn't mean that they aren't there.The Cowlitz is stocking as many as ever but they are much later and they just don't beeline straight to the hatchery hole.
