Spring is SO Near! Here is a wedding cake idea for ANY season. I chose to adorn this simple wedding cake with Spring Flowers, although this wedding cake design would look lovely as a Summer wedding cake, Autumn Cake, or even a beautiful Winter Wedding Cake design.
In this video, I show you (on a foam wedding cake) How to decorate a simple, but pretty Spring Wedding Cake. What a cute Idea! This design is an Easy Cake decorating idea for beginners, and advanced decorators alike.
I start with a covering of fondant, then use royal icing to hand pipe scrolls on the top tier and the bottom tier.
On the middle tier, I use Gold Luster dust (amzn.to/3M4AcPn) to create a golden shine...Try using Silver for a Winter Wedding!
After the dust is dry, I pipe a bead border connecting the cakes. Lastly, I add flowers to all 3 tiers.
