Jon Smit face in the first 35 seconds of this video bring you to tears. He was a great Captain and more importantly a great person who only showed the Springboks in a good light. He was humble and always gave everything to the cause. I know Bismark is a great player but Smit earned his right to hang on even if his form was not the best. He was the driving force of 07. Hope he has a great retirement and a long and happy life!

Who cares if men cries - it shows passion. You won against the Australia criminals :) - well played. Our history is not perfect, but it is better than a country that invaded other to get what they did not have. Even in WW2 Churchill sank our fleet with thousands of men on - we were allies. The English will never have our class even if we loose. Let us not fight anymore on internet.

Wanna know why? The game favours their play style. Back in the day we had more wins then them. The game has changed, and one of the key ways it has changed is in the ruck area. I think you will agree that the rucks are a sham atm. Guess which team of the two requires more rucks to score a try. That's right, teams have more opportunities to stop a forward based team scoring because they form more rucks. New Zealand has adapted to the game better than we have. I have no problem admitting that.

@browngau1 Aw come on! You must have... there 100,000s of them in London. In fact, if you ever see someone helping an old lady accross the street in London, the chances are he/she is not English. Maybe Polish, but definitely not English. Broaden your horizons a bit - find a Saffa and go have a braai! ;)

Yes, the French respects the Springboks. You won in 2007 here - the dirty English lost. :) You will show the All Blacks this year with good refferee Afrique du Sud est magnifique! Bonne chance contre les Anglais en Juin....
