This is one of my bucket list pistols but without the rail.

I have 2 SA MC Operators. One early version that was refitted and now smooth as a Wilson Combat. My newer Operator is upgraded to a .460 Rowland. I've shot many guns, but keep coming back to the 1911. It shoots and feels like a gun should.

I have one at Nighthawk getting reworked right now. Better sights, ultra high cut the front strap, I’ll have them blend the the magwell a bit nicer, replacement of the MIM parts and a refinish in black nitride. Can’t wait to get it back!!!

Welcome back! SA still uses MIM internal parts, even on their "higher end" models like the Operator and Vickers Masterclass 1911s. Go with Dan Wesson!

Yup crg serial number!!!! Love mine and hard as hell to get!!!!! Btw did you get the certificate/birth sheet with the pistol?

I'm confused. Your serial number is under 5000. That gun was definitely built earlier than 2021. Mine is in the 5000s and was built in 2017. I have the certificate. Yours is more rare because its an actual contract era pistol.

Looking FWD to your comparison video. I have yet to watch a video where someone manages to justify the aking price of a "custom" gun. What makes them worth more than 2x as much of a TRP.....or MORE ...I haven't been sold ....yet....cant just be about "no movement in the trigger" HEH :)
