In this episode, I head out for some small stream fishing on three beautiful trout rivers in the woodlands of Eastern Connecticut: the Blackledge River, Dickinson Creek and Jeremy River. These are all stocked, tributary streams of the larger Salmon River, which is among Southern New England's more popular rivers for trout fishing.
About 5 or 6 weeks ago, I released a small stream hopping video recorded on trout streams up in Connecticut's Northwest Hills. You guys really seemed to enjoy that, so I thought I would run with the concept on head over to the eastern side of Connecticut. Truly, I had a blast out there!
If you've got any ideas on where else I should fish this year or what other types of fishing you'd like to see, let me know in the comments. Admittedly, the circumstances of 2020 have conspired to make it tough to do everything with the channel that I originally had in mind for 2020, namely expanding my list of target species. But I'm collecting all of your ideas, I promise! And as time and opportunity permits, I'll branch out whenever I can.
