In the middle of a weekend wrap-around series against the Mets, the Bucs are struggling to convince themselves they can go on a run. It was a wild week of games, despite the W/L basically a push. Everything from all the homers to none of them, let's talk about it.

I really cant remember watching a more inconsistent pirates team. These guys are up and down day to day,one day good,next day awful with no middle.

Taylor Ward would be a nice pickup and even though hes righthanded he has pretty good splits and would fit nicely into rightfield giving the Pirates a defensive boost as well.

I was honestly hoping the pirates lost to the mets today and then lose 3 to the sewers so we could just relax and watch baseball, they either need to win 5 to 7 in a row and be legit contenders or lose 5 to 7 in a row and be out of contention. This roller coaster crap has got to stop.
