Changing the steering wheel on a sprinter van. This involves removing the airbag and the wheel on a 2019 VS30 Sprinter van. You are not the only crazy one out there. I bought similar carbon fiber airbag ,same look. I am in the process of installing it tonight..maybe tomorrow. Very helpful video

@@ArabSaram هنا في لوس انجلس. سعرها 1800 دولار من غير ايرباغ جلد. مع الايرباغ تزيد 800 دولار. بصراحه شغل جميل جدا وتستاهل السعر

Thank you , very useful to me Had faulty steering wheel buttons and fixed Only I can mention there is little mark very helpful when changing the wheel to keep it in exact same potion Didn’t took long arm to unscrew Was tight but manageable

They use different shapes and types of connector to eliminate human error during the manufacturing process. It works well for manufacturing but it becomes really annoying when you are modifying in the aftermarket.

“It’s not hard.” Looks like a complete mess for a pro to do. Also looks awesome when the pro is done. When I lived in Germany I took my Mercedes 550 in for maintenance. The mechanic chewed my rear for each item he had to adjust. “A perfect machine is not to be treated this way.” I’d love to see that same German mechanic watch this video. He would cease to exist.

Managed to get same wheel Quick question why did you have to swap all the inside is it not compatible? Can i leave the wheel as it is mine has everything inside the horn and airbag? Thanks john

That’s a good question. My gut would say you would need more than just the wheel but I am not sure.

How does the dealer remove the air bag?I’m pretty sure they don’t cut holes in the steering wheel. I was hoping to add the switch for the stereo controls but can’t find any information if it’s just plug and play.

You can get them custom made. There are companies like Euro Active Retrofits that make them to order. You can provide you year and a pic of your current wheel and they will make sure all the buttons work.

It is a factory wheel from a different Mercedes. Front seats are Scheel-Mann. We sell them on our website

@@owloffroad ordering asap, my elbows cant take another trip. BTW I cant wait to put on the fender armor and front spoiler I just ordered from you guys. Does the rustoleom bed liner texture match or should I spray the fenders before installing? I matched my rocker panels to yours.

You could show us an AC swap too, from HH9 Tempmatic to HH4 Thermotronic on Sprinter. I wish I could do this here in Brazil, where unfortunately they don't offer as optional.
