Extremely interesting two tubes 80M band transceiver in a handy box. I always enjoy what you have created. I hope to make a CW QSO with you using my classic transceiver when the propagation is right. Thanks for sharing with the world on your excellent achievement....VA7VB
Wonderful creation! I used to sit and observe my HAM neighbour as a young boy . He was kind enough to allow me to listen and observe . He was a U.S. Army Retired Colonel who was General MacArthur's Communication Officer. He was teaching me Morse Code when he died in 1966. Your videos have awakened an interest in radio and HAM devices that I've not had for almost 60 years. Thank you!
Only two tubes, and full break-in operation! Plus 600-Hz offset and side-tone -absolutely fantastic! I must now build one for 40-Meters :-) Thank you Helge ! -KK7JD-
Simply brilliant, I loved the way to generate the beat signal on RX using the same crystal as to generate the carrier on TX. And all in a tiny box. a fascinating experiment 73 of EA1FLL 👍
Congratulations! I am very happy to watch this homebrew two tubes transceiver making the first successful QSO and the extremely satisfaction smiles that you exhibit after the QSO. I assume that you are extremely happy and satisfied. Great job...James VA7VB
Very nice little transceiver, amazing. Kind of a tube version of a Pixie 😊. How high is the supply voltage, I can’t find that info in the video or on your website.
Hello dear OM the Reception part works very well now please give me the diameter of the RF coil for the Transmission part and the number of turns Thank you again 73 jean-jacques F6ggz
Thank you dear OM for your answer one last question please for the coil of the EL90 if possible the number of turns and diameter of the coil many thanks 73 qro jean-jacques F6ggz
Thanks for the comment. I haven't really counted the number of windings. I have measured the value in an inductance meter. It should be approx. 22uH. But you also need to measure the resonant frequency.
Takk for kommentaren. Bra forslag. Hadde vært bedre ja. Men kansje enda bedre er å ha volumet i anodekretsen? Da vil jeg muligens få høyer Q i inngangskretsen.
The transformer had to be extremely small. That's why I used a microphone transformer. It has a low-impedance input and a high-impedance output. I connect it so that the high Z side connects to the anode. The output should only drive an earphone or a line input.
hello dear om i am interested in the assembly of your 2 tubes transceiver can you give me the number of turns for the coil of the ek90 tube and the 6aq5 a big thank you 73 qro jean-jacques f6ggz
