Good reviwe, Thumbs up (: Posted a picture of my Native 5 in a edc/knife group one time and somebody called it a gas station knife cause it had plastic handles XD However in my opinion, for a user/work knife I way rather have a knife with FRN handles instad of wood, micarta, g10 or carbon fiber :) Haven't used my Native 5 anywhere near as much as you have, but I have sharpened it lightly a few times, and the spy27 also seems to take a sharp edge real easy
Hi, I'm a recent subscriber, and thinking of getting the UKPK in LC200Nn, this video has been a great help, thank you, and all the best from across the pond,, John....
I don’t know how I missed this video ( for a year ), maybe because I don’t own/want a Native5 LW. I do have a Delica4, a Sage5 LW, a Para3 LW and a couple of Bugouts. They all suit my knife needs and I rotate them as my EDC. I do tune into your channel for knife reviews and sharpening tips. Keep up the good work you do..!
Great finish on the review! I have this knife and love to carry it hiking and mountain biking because it is so light, weather resistant and dependable with a strong lock.
I find LC200N to be very similar to Sandvik 14C28N, with LC200N being better in all ways other than durability. It rolls easier than 14C28N. I think 14C28N might maintain razor sharpness just a little longer too.
Great straight shooter channel just subscribed. By any chance did you review the Sage 5 M4? I bounce back and forth the Spydiechef and Chaparral when I edc. Been wanting to switch to a compression lock and the Sage seems like a better choice for me than the other Spydercos.
I wonder now how the Maxamet (oops - MAGNACUT) version will stack up, since (if I'm not mistaken) you can't buy new with LC200N any more. I've very much enjoyed your videos on this one, Erica!
I gotta a Spyderco Maxamet Manix 2; it's super hard to sharpen, patinas with any use. I like it very much. If you're looking for a blade in wet environments, go for the Salt.
@@williamyoung369 Thank you -- I only brought it up because the Salt is now in Maxamet (edit for snyaptic misfire, I meant MAGNACUT this whole time, derp) (pre-order, but still -- no LCN200 avaiable on primary market I don't think!)
