I also have the Stretch 2 in K390. It's good stuff! You will be happy with it. I changed the pocket clip to a Lynch Northwest deep carry. They had a blued titanium clip that look great on the knife. It makes the grip more comfortable as the stock clip dug into my hand.
Spydercos frn scales on their lw series is nothing fancy, but it just works. You can use them hard, and they'll hold up to pretty much anything. K390 is a great steel. I'd love to get some fixed blades done in it. It holds an edge for a long time, and it's pretty tough stuff as well. It's damn sure not even remotely stainless though, lol.
Haha! Got that right! Funny you say that because my next design is going to be K390 as long as plans continue forward. I can’t wait to test it. Thanks man!👊
That edge isn't fresh. It has been used a fair amount, but I stropped it up and it felt pretty sharp, so I figured it would be good to go regardless. I'm curious to see how it does, especially considering it's a stropped back edge.
@@WhatsthePOINT_EDC Oh sorry, it's me not knowing the right words 😅 But yeah, it's very strange. I have a bunch of Seki City Spydercos and none of them are like this.
@_MiMo_ Yes. Haha, this is what I was trying to say 🤣 Very strange indeed. I'll probably open it up and see if there's something I can do. To send it in to have it fixed will cost way too much in shipping to be worth it. It's not that big of a problem, mostly sad that it's almost impossible to reverse flick.
