The rule of law reassert itself right after we break it until we want to break it again and then we reasserted for everybody else. Now that I violated you the law goes back into place and no one is allowed to violate anybody until I decide to violate someone else again. It's kind of like I can call myself a holy person as long as I go and say forgive me for I have sinned that I let it go until the next time I feel like sending again and then I send and go say I forgive me because I have sinned until I feel like doing it again. So basically when I bring fear I can break the laws and do whatever I want because I'm in fear but then as soon as I'm no longer and fair the law goes back into place for everybody else. As a side note, why is their never a director in control of these little films? Overall, a good presentation. But to call this presentation a "trail" from Eisenhower to Obama, that a misnomer. Highly respected scholars discussed the issue of spying to different degrees, but I never heard any lineage of spying.

The retelling of Clapper lying to the Senate at 47 minutes bothers me. Clapper got asked that question on live TV. If the same Senator had asked the same question in a committee would Clapper have given the same answer? Probably. But Senator Wyden created a situation where he had the choice but to lie or divulge information about NSA's capabilities. Expecting intelligence services to be transparent with leadership is reasonable. Expecting them to have complete transparency to the public is moronic for obvious reasons.
