SQUAD 44 JUST GOT BETTER 

thumbs upped the vid, this actually made me finally get it, had Post Scriptum on my wishlist for years, life just kinda got crazy, I tended to play stuff I already owned instead of buying new games the past few years. However, as a mid 30s cynical gamer who really doesn't like how the gaming industry has gone, wanting a non mega fast paced gogogo shooter like COD or how I felt even Battlefield 2042 is, this has been a breath of very fresh air and I had a blast earlier playing. This, Hell Let Loose I recently got into, and Stalker Anomaly vanilla before I get my bearings to finally try Gamma will keep me occupied and give me my fps fix for quite some time. I really hope the population for this game grows more too. For anybody that ever sees this in the future, game is totally worth a purchase. As I get older I'm really liking more slower paced deliberate shooters instead of jumping and hopping around all cracked out like apex or fortnite lol

Squad 44 (Post Scriptum) has always been underrated. I hope it does well. The only thing holding it back was the low player count.

the thing i noticed the most is performance . Before the update i barely got 30 fps and now its a steady 50 - 60 with the same settings.

If anyone tells you the title was Squad 44 edit 2 and that I changed it at 4am they are clinically insane

Dude I'm going to be honest, your opinions are spot on. I honestly like Post Scriptum more then Hell Let Loose. While Hell Let Loose has some cool things I honestly don't like the acrady style of it. I also love playing armor and the armor in Post Scr- I mean Squad 44 is super realistic with working armor.

They have already said they WILL NOT bring the ICO over... However, I hope they do bring other features and mechanics like dragging bodies and the much requested 100 players!

I played in Forgotten Hope tournaments (FHT specifically, check it out on youtube) back in the day, gliders were always a bit of a gamble lol, so many mass casualties and failed roll outs. You had to have someone fly the tow plane and disconnect the glider at the height and location, then it was up to the glider pilot to land the glider without hitting any trees or rocks which in the BF1942 engine was instant death. I remember one map involving the Chindit river, the allied glider pilots just kept crashing over and over lmao.

Getting squad this weekend because of the sale really reminded me how fun post scriptum is. I love both games especially armour in squad but the overall pacing of squad44 is much more consistent. It might be due to more experienced, loyal players that have decided to stick to squad44. Playing squad reminded me how good the squad leaders were is squad 44. Currently updating squad44 to refresh my memory.

I would love to get into Squad 44 but seeing only a few servers populated and those servers having big queues is pretty disheartening. Hope more people start moving towards this in the near future.

I completely agree, i played when it was PS and followed all updates, the game enhanced a lot! Graphically, performance and so on. For the first time i could see 6 full servers of this game, since Comar update release. Till now we can see that they've been revamping and adding a few stuff, but when a HUGE update comes out, like new maps, player (firstperson) model revamp, dynamic POI capture, new theaters or thinfs like this, Squad44 will boost tremendously!

4:00 Well, just a little stupid thing, but: they could improve the camera by actually putting your eye into the "scope" and seeing the real photo you're going to take.

I'd be happy to see more Squad 44 gameplay! I'm quite liking what I am seeing, and if OWI continues working on it I think this game could become pretty notable. Also Tantwo, I'm pretty sure if you weren't in Australia, you'd be unstoppable because your aim is great! No idea how you play these games though, I struggle so hard with our high ping __also skill issue__. At any rate, hope you're having a great day and hope you keep up the good videos! :)

Haven't played since February. I'm shocked at how good the new graphics and effects are.

I love how many weapon mechanics came over from red orchestra/rising storm, even weapon resting is in the game. Prefer S44 to HLL pretty much for that alone.

The reasons why i uninstalled PS are enormous game weight (70+ gb, i mean, why?..) and absolute chaos of the new supply meta. Nobody is following orders or giving orders, no squadleaders around, no spawns, without MSPs you are obligated to rely on others or to pick up the role you did not want to, but even then you were not able to build stuff alone. The biggest impact is the drastic change on the impact of you as a player on a battlefield, and ilike me some well timed flanks and sneaky OPs in HLL... And now they have change it back! Let's hope that change are here to stay, might give it another try.

Buildings are empty, roads and exteriors are clean and shining... that's the less unimmersive experience possible... So bad.

Only reason I dont play Squad 44 is because I cant run it, I bought it a long time ago and never refunded with hopes someday I'll be able to play it lol. This game seems absolutely amazing but two problems I have with it are: terrible ping due to lack of servers in my region, and terrible FPS, around 20-40 with massive lag spikes on lowest setting, plus terribly long loading times, slow world rendering in game and quite a lot of heating in the i7 7th gen, which is weird, because I run heavier games like GTA 4 and 5, BF1 and IL-2 on mid-high without much of a problem, wonder if anyone knows what could be up

Too bad this game isn't for consoles. I'd love to play it. I've been playing HLL for 2 years and I love it ALOT. All I've been playing. Squad 44 looks great also tbh. I would definitely be hooked on squad44 or postscriptum to some people. Hopefully the game does great so it can come to consoles and get more players. The sounds are great in this game with this update makes it looks badass.

Squad fucked their game with their infantry overhaul. The movement is complete garbage and the rediculously terrible weapon handling and tiny sight pictures if awful. They literally made the game run like shit imo. They need to completely overhaul the movements in that game. Maybe theyre too focused on this game to actually fix their fuck up on Squad. In squad you cant change directions like a normal human being can, instead you move like youre a 1000lb roobot who can only stop first and then switch directions, not to mention how incredibly unrealistic and slow it is to get moving.

game still sucks they destroyed gunplay and made the meta even worse. It's dead in the water IMO, they touched everything that made the game great and improved upon nothing, including play pop which is the same as when there were no developers on a given weekday for NA players.

this game will never get revived... its buried too deep beneath HLL, I am not a fanboy of HLL but PS and yes I will call it by its original name has been neglected for too long, movement sucks, optimization sucks harder than HLLs ... everytime I want to play PS, I download it I see how few players are playing it, I see how bad and how awful it looks ... I uninstall it and I go play RO2 ... fr, even Gates of Hell which is a RTS game looks and feels better than this pile of garbage... I would rather see the revive of Day of Infamy than PS.

gameplay looks very empty, huge maps and players all over the place are probably the reason ... they should add more arcade gamemode where you could respawn a bit faster closer to the objective to make the game feel more crowded, less empty, more action packed like on some of those trailers moments they make
