Just a random fact: The original 'AUSSIE' Mod by Zero Hour Interactive (Formerly Midnight Interactive) had an M870 shotgun as part of it's arsenal (Fully working, animated & sounded as well). I guess after Offworld Industries purchased the mod from them sometime ago, they ultimately decided not to include it as part of the official release in the v2.15 update. The mod can still be found on the Steam Workshop for the curious, although it "is outdated and may not work correctly." (Or a video by 'Toker' can more quickly show you the buckshooter that didn't make the v2.15 arsenal). *EDIT:* Oh! Slugshooter. My mistake!
It shot slug rounds though, because they couldn’t mod in buckshot due to how the game ran bullets. I was really looking forward to the mods making it possible, but I guess they couldn’t.
I really like squad's reload animations because, like in real life, the bulk of the time spent on a reload is spent grabbing a magazine off a chest rig (excluding stuff like lmgs)
Oh, you should probably know, but on a certain maps, the aussies got a new gun with its own reload animation. I’ll edit this comment when I find out which map it’s on Edit: The layer is called “Chora RAAS v3”
As an Aussie whose had hands on experience with all of these weapon systems I’m very proud to see the corrections and details these guys managed to do great work
IDC if its “muh realism” but it really annoys me the way every animation has to look at the full magazine before inserting it. Its really slow and has no urgency. It feels like these animations are made for if someone was at a range rather than in a battlefield. Smh.
I don't know why people are so intrigued with that detail, it's cometely necessary to check if the mag is full or the rounds are stacked correctly. It's more like you are so tamed by MW2019's animation lmao Imagine not caring about realism in one of the most realistic war sim of all time
@@M4skedBoi shouldn’t you have checked all your kit before entering the field? Already making sure your mags are stacked correctly and full? You would be able to tell if you have an empty or full magazine by the weight of holding it, it shouldnt be necessary. It just looks goofy in “muh realism shoot a man game”
@@vitzel33 Since you already say "It does not fit on the battlefield", did you ever consider a player running around in the field and just want to make it sure twice just to not f*ck his life up with messed up magazine when his life depends on it? Don't you get why all shooters still do trigger discipline and muzzle point discipline when their guns are empty?
