@@woodscreekworkshop9939 I just bought a beautiful B&S surface gage on Ebay for $5. They are cheap and I have a dozen of them. Will have to see if I have one that isn't hardened, to eliminate the annealing/hardening process. FYI I did buy that horizontal mill and 60 cutters on that auction.

Nice piece of work.........something I'd like to have but too much work along with all my other projects.........sounds familiar?......maybe I'll just modify my scribing block with a front bumper etc..... oh well. These devices are only as accurate as the setting square so a cylindrical one will be fairly simple to make.

TommyGun Machining hi! No I don’t, but you can use a known parallel to set it. Not the most convenient, but it will get you right on. Tom Lipton did a video awhile back on that. But I will be building a master square as a project. Hope this helps!

Hi Terry. It’s just an ER32 collect holder that has R8 shank on it. Mine came from Banggood but you can find them all over eBay, Amazon and Shars.

Absolutely. You will want to make sure you drilled all 3 holes to the same depth, it that’s the beauty of having 3 feet, always stable.

Yuchol - You didn't scare the goat enough , he should have shit out the finished product. Maybe he can't read your drawings.To save yourself a lot of work , send the goat to blueprint reading. Narex ,Facing & Boring Head = Tall Money. I've heard you say many times that you're cheap.You didn't cheap out on that one. Is my jealously showing ? All kidding aside, that was an excellent video, nicely articulated , sweet design , excellent workmanship. If I had three hands I would give you three thumbs up .

Yuchol, I don't recommend using acetone on your balls to remove anything. Long term use of acetone is known to the State of Cancer to cause California. Besides, it burrrrns. Great build btw!
