Hi Liz, great video! This was extremely helpful for me. Are there any options for improving g zip on a SqSp website? I'm showing an F 1 score when i run my site through a quality checker. Was going to email like you mentioned, but thought it would be great for everyone to benefit from the response. much thanks!

Love your approach. What do you do when you’re too new to have anything in Search Keywords?
@bloomcreativecompany
@bloomcreativecompany 3 года назад
Time..... and Ssart blogging! If it is applicable to what you're doing. The content you push out there will help you start getting recognized by google esp if you are using keywords that people are looking for. Good luck!

Is it ok to use some of them as Tags on the blog?

This was a good video on how to use the info generated for searches for your site. However, I would guess the example you used would be for a brick and mortar store. Do you assign potential keywords or phrases to your site, or do they happen organically? My site is an e-commerce with no physical building.
@jeromekidman2763
@jeromekidman2763 3 года назад
Hey Matt, it is best to tell google what keywords to use by filling that in Squarespace otherwise Google we pick random words and phrases that people may not use as a search term. Use phrases that describe what your selling on your site. Whats your site called?
@bloomcreativecompany
@bloomcreativecompany 3 года назад
If you initiate Google Search Keywords in your site this will show you what people are searching in google, this is where you can pull ideas for keywords or blog topics from. It will take some time for organic results but it is possible! Stay diligent and consistent.

@@jeromekidman2763 Yeah... that was very confusing as I set things up with Squarespace. The site is called www.desertflowerrosaries.com

Also, I should ask: Should I include an intro sentence on my home page? I currently have none. It is an e-commerce site.
@bloomcreativecompany
@bloomcreativecompany 3 года назад
I always recommend an all encompassing one sentence that tells what you do, who you serve, and why. That way there are no questions about what you do by someone that lands on your site, you are giving them what they need to know within seconds. The quicker you can get your mission across the more time you will get with them and start to get them interested!

@@bloomcreativecompany thanks for your response. I think I covered it my about page, as to our why.
@bloomcreativecompany
@bloomcreativecompany 3 года назад
@@mattjohnson88 I still recommend on the home page, just in case someone doesn't make it to your about page. Best of luck!

How to input the key words in the actual website ???
@bloomcreativecompany
@bloomcreativecompany 3 года назад
In page titles, headers, blog articles. wherever you can fit them in that makes sense with the flow of your information on your site!

@@bloomcreativecompany how exactly, do we just dump the keywords there, as words or phrases or what exactly? As a content write up Please Thank you

I looked at my analytics section, but somehow I don't have that google keyword search section. There's no pop ups to connect. Any idea?
@bloomcreativecompany
@bloomcreativecompany 4 года назад
That seems strange. Have you tried reaching out to Squarespace support? I can't see what you're seeing... the Keywords is located in your Analytics Tab and all you need to do is connect!
@Enchanteralle

@@bloomcreativecompany Just reached out to them today. They gave me the same instructions page. I'll have to talk to someone else. But good to know it's supposed to be there. I also notice images I uploaded in my blog page does not show up, so something needs to be looked into ....

@@Enchanteralle One mine it appears as "Search Keywords" under the Acquisition section on that page. Then on the page itself you have two tabs one for google and Other search engines. Check if that's how it appears for you.
@Enchanteralle
@Enchanteralle 4 года назад
@@Sondercreative Thanks! Yes, the two tabs show. Under google, everything is zero. My website had been up for a month. It doesn't pop up in google search results, but it pops up in yahoo. So I'm wondering what went wrong....how come nothing shows in google search?
