I currently use Square POS and square online, thinking about creating A squarespace site. Did you say that you could connect both together? Second, do you have a video on how to that.
Great info! Really wish I had found this before signing up for Squarespace (I mean Square). Yes, I thought I signed up for Squarespace, but ended up with the other (no wonder I couldn't sign in!). To me, Square is very confusing for a first timer, trying to design their own website. Now it's time to try to understand Squarespace.
Do you have any recommendations as far as which platform is easiest to use if you aren't ready to commit to the top tier plan but realistically would benefit from calculated shipping? I'm struggling to figure out how to price shipping for my items when calculated shipping isn't available on my plan. Building a set shipping cost into each item isn't ideal, as I'm on the coast and shipping to opposite coast is obviously very expensive and wouldn't make any sense to charge a base $20 shipping rate for something that could be shipping for $9 locally. Stumped!
I've come to the conclusion that these are all ads. Maybe not. There are so many ecommerce reviews that really say nothing. Odd that every video has gushing comments, ie. Thanks for making the video so much info. I have point blank asked also and the answer I get is depends on what you need. Lol. No kidding before I even watched a video I realized I needed an ecommerce that meet my needs. So what did you go with. Despite all the Shopify haters, thats where I am leaning.
Quick question. Would you have to pay a membership on square to design the product catalog and place orders? Or can you just create it and pay their 2.9 % plus 30 cents? Then import it to Squarespace?
You can create a catalog on Square 100% for free. You’ll only pay when an order is placed (the 2.9% plus 30 cents). You won’t be able to “import” it to Squarespace. But if you have a Squarespace site, you can just direct traffic to your free Square domain.
You could certainly do something like that! I would probably just use images with links that open in a new tab to their online store. If that makes sense?
Does square space available for multiple store ?I run a few store in the moment and was looking for some website builder that can manage 1-3 store at the same time.
Hmmm I don’t think Squarespace will provide what you are looking for. While you can have 1 account to control as many websites/stores as you want, you’ll have to go into each website/store to manage inventory and orders. Also you would have to pay monthly/yearly subscriptions for each website/store. What are you currently using?
I have square space and square for a retail/non food biz. More by appointment type biz. We also need to be able to use the membership functionality of square space. Can we still integrate ?
You should be able to have your square appointments on a sub domain like app.website.com The other option that you may want to check out is Squarespaces Acuity scheduling. You can see an example of that in action here: www.svarenwebstudio.com/coaching/ I’ve been meaning to make a video comparing the two scheduling services because they are both good options with some subtle differences!
Hey there! If you want to use Acuity (Squarespaces scheduling app), there is zero coding required. However you will have to pay for the ability to embed the scheduler on your Squarespace website. You can learn a bit more about that here: svarenwebstudio.com/squarespace-scheduling Very simple and easy to add, and you can manage everything from your Squarespace site.
Thanks for watching and for your feedback! This was the most fun I had creating a video and interestingly it performed better then most of my other videos. But alas, can't please everyone ;)
@@Svaren I mean square online free version not square space. Can you also use a pin tag integrated with gtm and link it to the square online free version?
@@Relax-kb7tf Yep, square online. I have no experience with integrating Pin and GTM. This is what Square says about adding a pin tag: "To verify and add a tag, you must have a custom domain." So you can have a free square site but will need a custom domain. You can add just about any tracking code with Square online free and you have the option to add the code snippet to the header or footer. Hope that helps!
