that's a good idea, i mean, they could make some kind of a event where people need to make a course in home circuit, and the best one can have their track in the game
The 70’s style jazz works wonders for this track in the fact that this music style was heavily used in commercials advertising cleaning supplies. Definitely one of my favorite new tracks
@@RU-vidCommonman_Totas "If you got a real mess and want to clean like the pros, then you’ve got to see this! Hi, Billy Mays here with Zorbeez, the most absorbent material I’ve ever used. It has the strength and the muscle to pick up and hold over 20 ounces of liquid. Look at this! Zorbeez attracts liquid like a magnet! It doesn’t matter if it’s coffee, soda, even red wine! Watch as this powerful vacuum action pulls and cleans the stain from out of the carpet - just that quick. The secret's in the X27 fiber technology, making Zorbeez over 27 times more absorbent than cotton! Forget towels that just drip. And, unlike sponges that smell, Zorbeez is odor-free and leaves a path of clean. Now, you could clean and dry and never leave anything behind! You’ll be amazed at just how much they absorb - and they’re machine washable. Dry your entire car, even your dog! Use any cleaner for a streak-free window. An average family uses up to two rolls of paper towels every week. That’s cash in the trash! Save money and even help save the environment. You get two jumbo Zorbeez plus three extra large for only $14.99. But call right now and I’ll send you another five Zorbeez absolutely free! That’s 10 Zorbeez for only $14.99! And as a special bonus, we’ll also include our Micromen Microfiber Duster free. It’s great for blinds, plants, glass, and more - and attracts dust like a magnet! That's a $60 value, all for just $14.99! And here's the best part, we'll send you a set of Zorbeez free, whenever you need them, for life! Just pay shipping and processing. But you gotta call now!”
This song sound like it came straight outta 3D World water levels. It just so good and so jazzy for no reason! Talking about subverted our expectations of a bathroom song by doing "yall like jazz?" 😂
im pretty sure the track designers/composers did that intentionally to line it up given the average time it took to get there in playtests (with items and such)
It's just 1 composer, but we don't know who it is. In the original Wii U Mario Kart 8 (including DLC) it's known that Atsuko Asahi was responsible for most of the jazz-style music, but I feel like she didn't do this one.
@criticaldel if I'm not wrong, i heard about this when the internet leaked the song, including their credits, so they were all the composers (Kondo, Nagata, Nagamatsu, etc) and recorded date of the song.
aside from sky high sundae and piranha plant pipeline, the tour-original tracks surprisingly kinda popped off. squeaky clean sprint, ninja hideaway, yoshi's island, merry mountain, piranha plant cove, that's a genuinely strong lineup! I'd even say the first three rank among the best tracks in the whole series.
This song complements the track PERFECTLY. During regular races it almost always loops back to the beginning the moment you cross the finish line and enter lap 2. Amazing.
I love when they bring out the jazz band! Big Mario Odyssey vibes, which fits since this track has the Binding Band from the sand kingdom in it! Edit: not only is there a near direct quote of Jump Up Super Star at 0:16, the section at 0:44 has almost the same chord progression as the second half of the chorus.
This is one of the coolest MK tracks to release in a long time. The music for a bathroom stage being jazz. That's weirdly awesome. Spoilers for people who haven't played this track yet that I officially like about this new track. Using the toilet to rise to the top of the shelf is genius, going into the drain of a bathtub was cool for a pipe section. Somehow a bathroom stage is in my top favorite kart tracks but I mean, It's Nintendo. Their imagination is bizarre.
Plumber: excuse me mam but while i was getting out the stuff that was clogging your bathtub i pulled out some mario kart toys care to explain why they were down there also i found your wedding ring.
I don't think I've ever grown so attached to a theme this quickly before. This track has only been out for around a month now and it's already one of my favorites.
Best track from wave 5 and contender for best OG track from the booster course pass Mario kart is really cool when the theme of the track is just "you're tiny"
I love this track, gives me 'the night before a winter vacation' vibes, the house is kinda messy, you're packing all your bags, people are going in and out of the bathroom. I can only describe it as COMFY
Not my favorite song in the pass but certainly my favorite track! The track design is just so darn creative, it just puts a giant smile on my face everytime I race through this fantastic stage!
A tiny Mario screaming "yahoo!" while gliding over an agonising man doing a number 2 with beautiful jazz music in the background has to be one of the scenes of all time.
Jesus, this track is *SO* damn good both by music standards and track layout and aesthetic, I hope Nintendo revisits this idea for a track, maybe a Kitchen or Living Room
The feeling you get exploring every nook and cranny of this map is excellent, the feeling of being small in such a big space is explored nicely in this track, one of my favourite offerings from the booster course pack so far.
This song reminds me a lot of Sticker Star’s compositions. Excuse the pun, but it makes it stick out compared to the rest of the tracks, and in a really good way!
This was my favourite track in wave 5, as someone who doesn’t mind large water sections a la Dolphin Shoals, this was a great time. Music added to the experience!
I’ll admit, even after Yoshi’s Island being good I didn’t have huge hopes for this one… It’s a bathroom. That’s it. But this course was SO MUCH BETTER than I expected it to be. The music is amazing (it gives me Ratatouille vibes, which I think is perfect), the track is solid (it feels like racing around a room, rather than a set layout), and the visuals are stunning. This could easily be a base game track
I think at this point this track should be considered an 8DX track. Feels like it was made with 8DX in mind much more than the likes of SHS and even Yoshi’s Island
@@pango8143idk some people have pointed out that Yoshi Island or some of it has been in Tour data for quite a while now. I don’t think we should belittle Tour for this specifically
It's so unbelievable to me that a bathroom course is in Mario Kart... I always was like "man a bathroom course would be so awesome and then you could do this and that..." and now it actually happend.. I had this idea for like 10 years now..
No joke I came up with the idea of real world cities for tracks in Mario Kart like 7 years ago and then afterwards I thought to myself “ok no, this is bs, they would never do that” and look where we are now XD
The best part of the track. So beautiful, sounded like your in a dinning hall dancing with other people like its the 1940s wearing dress and suits. I love this track so much. The soundtrack sounded like it came from Disney cartoons. 0:35
This song is just magical!!! Istg every time i listen to it it brightens up my day! My mouth actually hurts bc I can't help but smile whenever this tune is playing and I've had it on loop for at least half an hour now
My favorite part in this stage is where you fall in the turd bowl and drown in the fecal water 💩🤢💀 😂 Nah, I'm kidding. This is a awesome track with great music to go along with it! Imo one of the best ideas for a Mario Kart stage ever!
