Love how both this track and Daisy Cruiser had a beautiful string countermelody added, it kinda gives Daisy’s tracks a consistent identity in this game! (all 2 of them lol)
Now that Daisy Circuit is here, you could literally play the entire Star Cup from MKWii! Daisy Circuit - Acorn Cup Koopa Cape - Cherry Cup Maple Treeway - Rock Cup and Grumble Volcano - Lightning Cup Nostalgia has hit me like a speed train and I love it 💙
@@gonkywonkYeah. Grumble Volcano was one of the original 32 back in 2014, Maple Treeway was added in Wave 3, Koopa Cape in Wave 5, and Daisy Circuit in Wave 6.
This is just like Maple Treeway in this game, its a very good rendition, but it doesnt overshadow the original and makes both very nice to listen too. Nintendo really did not mess up any of the Wii songs
This is one of the songs I was most nervous about how Nintendo would handle it if it ever got remade, but I’m glad that my fears have been eased, because this sounds fantastic! A bit of a different feel from the original, but in a good way.
its so great to see MKW tracks get remastered along w/ their music really shows how iconic MKW tracks (design wise and msuic wise) just makes them THAT good
I like the bossa nova style guitar and overall more Latin American feel this has. Which is funny, because if they kept this as faithful as some of the other Wii songs, this would be very similar in style to Rome Avanti in the same cup. At 0:41 you can really hear the musicians putting everything they have into the song.
Still mad we didn't get Mexico Mayhem (Or however you would like to call a hypothetical track for Mexico City), but PPC clearly has some Yucatecan/Mayan flair added to it, and Daisy Circuit could perfectly be in Veracruz or something.
Even though this track is gonna place 8th on most people's wave 6 rankings, it's still a banger which goes to show how great all the tracks this wave are

I didn’t absolutely hate Cove or anything, but it bored me; nothing about it really stood out to me at all, and I’m struggling to remember any particularly memorable parts other than the large staircase and the presence of a few Thwomps. I can’t really say this is definitively the best BCP cup because of that, given that something like Wave 4 exists, where no track really falters as much as Cove does in my eyes (and the wave just generally has equally as high highs). More power to the Cove fans, but I really wish Pipeline got in over it.
Is it a hot take that I find DK Mountian to be by far my least favorite of the wave? Its still a good song, but compared to the rest of the wave it isn't that special.
I know right. First we had Daisy Cruiser then Daisy as a playable character in Super Mario Bros Wonder and now we have Daisy Circuit. A perfect trifecta
And don’t forget the Daisy Mii Racing Suit coming into existence thanks to this game. It does require the Daisy amiibo, but that just means another thing to celebrate in Daisy’s best year since the GameCube era. You could say that 2023 was The Year of Daisy, and coincidentally enough, it was 10 exact years after 2013’s The Year of Luigi. COINCIDENCE MUCH?! Maybe, maybe not.
When I booted up wave 6 I was straining my ears to hear this masterpiece. I don't know why, but the audio was just too low in the background. Only now I can hear the strings, and it just made me love this track even more. This is one example of "i wish i can live this" lol
Prior to this and Daisy Cruiser, Daisy was the only main base roster character (besides Rosalina) that did not get either her own stage represented or any remixes of her past courses in this game. Mario, Luigi, Peach, Toad, Yoshi, DK, Wario, Bowser etc all had their own stages. And at least you could unlock a Rosalina costume with her Amiibo, and Waluigi got a remix of Waluigi Pinball prior to his stage being released. Meanwhile Daisy got nothing, as if Nintendo wanted you to forget about her. Maybe I'm over-analyzing, but It seemed like she wasn't very well represented in MK8 until recently in 2023. So I kind of understand why Daisy fans are SO ecstatic that she's getting more attention from Nintendo. They clearly put effort and love into this track, even if it was a last minute after-thought. Better late than never, right?
I love how they made it sound like a delightful place to go and take your desired vacation on this wonderful land (which might be based somewhere in Muda from Sarasaland, but that's just a theory)

@@drayden-om6xl in odyssey in Bowser's kingdom at the crazy cap store, it was such a huge missed opportunity not to make Wario and Waluigi the shop keepers with Wario managing gold coins and Waluigi managing purple coins. Instead they had two new donker humans, huge missed opportunity!
Long prior to this remix I had been pretty fond of the one from Sonic & Mario At Olympic Games-series - but gotta say, quite enjoying how they really mellowed it out here, whilst building up on the original's uplifting energy. A very sweet reimagining.
I originally was kinda disappointed with this tracks inclusion but I gotta say now that I’ve played it’s nice to just drive around and that added Wii Nostalgia
Listing to this remix makes me feel like a kid again playing Mario kart Wii with my sisters, we would always play this track because most of the other tracks were too hard for them
In terms of a fresh remix, this is the best of the best. Reimagined to an energetic bossa nova accompaniment with exting countermelodies all over the place!

As others have already said in the comments, this has a decidedly different feel to it than the original. Which is slightly disappointing to me However, this version makes Daisy Circuit feel like an enjoyable relaxing resort location more than the original. Makes me want to actually go there. Won't take me long to get used to it. Glad they did it. 👍🏻👍🏻
Wohhhhh. Omg this sounds so different and yet amazing?! It is so playful and yet Hawaii like. Why did they go so hard on both Daisy course songs? It so beautiful i almost wanna cry with tears of joy. Once again, flute and strings win a person heart.
This stage felt like a unnecessary choice for the BCP since Airship Fortress was right there, but with a remix as brilliant and beautiful as this? Somehow I don’t mind the track’s inclusion all that much.

My absolute MOST WANTED track is back, and I couldn't ask for a more faithful, yet angelic remix! It's something about the Daisy remixes in the booster course pass man. I liked Daisy Cruiser and Circuit fine enough before, but these remixes are straight masterpieces!! Mario Kart Band we don't deserve you 😭
Honestly, I’m really happy this track got in. Not only is it more beautiful then ever, but it’s even more fun and this remix is immaculate, best song in the BCP imo.

This track surprised me way more than I expected it to. Nintendo really gave this track a glow up and it stands out compared to some of the other circuits *mhm toad circuit mhm*
My only complaint is that the main melody of the beginning is a little too heavy on the xylophone. When I think daisy circuit I think of the wonderful main piano.
