Spongebob Squarepants Reaction is today's video! Hey everyone! Join me and NickFlix as we continue our Spongebob Squarepants journey today with the beginning of Season 2!
A square yellow sponge named SpongeBob SquarePants lives in a pineapple with his pet snail, Gary, in the city of Bikini Bottom on the floor of the Pacific Ocean. He works as a fry cook at the Krusty Krab. During his time off, SpongeBob has a knack for attracting trouble with his starfish best friend, Patrick. Arrogant octopus Squidward Tentacles, SpongeBob's neighbor, dislikes SpongeBob because of his childlike behavior.

Interesting fact; Crabs can actually detach & reattach their claws in response to danger or stress. So that’s why Mr. Krabs losing his claws is kinda a running joke

I love how Spongebob says to the blue fish, “I hope my horrible ugliness won’t be a distraction for you.” One might imagine the blue fish to normally say something like, “Oh you’re not ugly,” instead he says, “Not at all boy.” He didn’t even deny Spongebob being ugly.

SpongeBob's scream in Bossy Boots at 18:08 lives in my head rent-free because it sounds nothing like how he usually screams. It's so good! When Mr. Krabs says he can think of ten good reasons to never let go of a dime 27:46, he's talking about each cent the dime has. It took nearly a decade and half for me until it clicked with me as well. XD Keep the reactions coming, fellas! Can't wait until Nick reacts to the original movie!

Fun fact: If you pause at 33:24 you can see that the sign at the hospital building says “Enereency” instead of “Emergency”. Either this was an animation mistake or this was an intentional detail added to the episode to show how Krabs will do anything to save money. Also great video Cody.

When Season 2 came, you can tell the animation has completely changed since the first season. I’m not sure if they got new animators, or maybe because 2D animation has advanced through the years, either way this was a big upgrade. (Also, I didn’t know Cody and NickFlix was going to do Season 2 as well. This is a nice surprise for me.)

Oh my goodness, I only JUST realized that Squidward giving SpongeBob his hat is a literal play on the phrase "wear many hats" (have multiple jobs at once).
