Hey guys, as a Sri Lankan myself, I just wanted to say how much I'm enjoying your travel series! It's so refreshing to see foreigners appreciating all the things that make my country so special. From the food to the wildlife to the beaches, you've really captured the essence of Sri Lanka. Keep up the great work and enjoy the rest of your trip! I have no doubt that your RU-vid channel will become even more popular in the next few weeks - your content is simply amazing.
Hey there! So sorry for the delay. Thanks so much for your message, it’s really great to hear when people have watched and enjoyed the videos. I’ve bumped into a few people in the street the past days who’ve let me know they watch and it’s so surreal and brilliant at the same time, so I’m really happy to hear you’ve come along and watched what I’ve been getting up to in the incredible country 😊❤️🇱🇰
Actually this fuel shortage occurred not due to the economic situation. The government planned to reduce the fuel prices on 1st of every month. Petrol shed owners knew this and they didn't order fuel to avoid the loss.
How much feet dude while I’m seeing that outside area from your camera itself my legs started shivering I’m the guy who always scared of height !! You ppl are brave!!!
It's a treturious trip on a bike 🏍 to hill country😂. Shame if the fuel ques are back. If I'm very tall as you or heavier as another I wouldn't go to the top of Ambuluwawa tower, as it's quite risky with other people passing up and down. Take care and enjoy your stay good man.😊
Very fun on the bike but you definitely need to be experienced. I’m glad that the authorities have proper rules in place to ensure foreigners should have the proper licence because it would be a terrible idea for people with no experience on bikes/road to drive in some places here as they do in other countries. Yea, it was pretty unsafe in some places on that tower. A few times I had to lean out to let people past because there’s absolutely no order. They need to have someone on there closer to the top making sure people can’t go up until others come down
@@TheWanderLife yea absolutely, no method in madness in SL. It's fun but risky, the eyes will open up only when the disaster strikes, it's the way of Lankan life, bcs they are islanders😀. Please look after yourself and your girlfriend, good man. Most ppl are good but there are occasional scammers and creepy ones.🙌👍
Sri Lanka will prosper in the near future when the west fails and their fiat monopolistic dollar is no longer the global trading currency. Imagine how powerful sri Lanka would be if they were able to print/control money at free will, use it globally, and dictate which countries are/are not allowed to use this currency.
Yea it’s design is dangerous and the behaviour of some people on there is even more so. There’s no order at all, so people foolishly creating situations where the route becomes even more dangerously blocked. I’d like to see them put a person at the door to make sure only so many people can go up at one time
